Well, as we all know, beta right now is just annoying, zero plugins, hMod hasn't updated, and it's a hassle.
So, I've found a way to downgrade, and upgrade freely as you wish.

Mod edit: sorry, but links to minecraft.jar files are not allowed on the forums
(Buxville cached clients, NOT mine)
Download whichever client you please, then go to your .minecraft -> Bin, and delete the minecraft.jar there, and replace it with the client you just downloaded. It shouldn't update your minecraft, a voila, you're now playing on a non-beta version of minecraft!
To upgrade: Delete the bin folder that you put the cached client, and run your minecraft launcher, it will update itself.
Yes, I'm aware that Buxville has posted this first, and I thank them, I'm just spreading the word so people can play with happiness :biggrin.gif:
You'll probably get banned for this. It's both illegal and against the forum rules to distribute copyrighted files or assist in the distribution of copyrighted files (especially minecraft.jar. You just let anybody who wants to play have the game for free.)
