indeed -- i am happy to be an extra or if you want some etra artwork done (stills etc.) and you're allowed a little bit of photoshop-help, let me know what you might want! if i have time i will magic somethin' up.
i hope we'll get to see the storyboards and stuff on the wiki, at least eventually! sounds really neat.
So I completed my first building. It's a small beach rental shop near the Surfer/All Dogs go to Heaven statue if anyone would like to check it out. I'm gonna plan something a bit bigger perhaps so I can get on that coveted whitelist.
Anyone think a self sustainable city would be cool?
This depends on the fate of my city. Its basically green architecture made with colors of white and green.
Proud Member of the VoxelBox Server
I Support a ton of mods and ideas, and I would like if They were added into the game as options that can be turned on or off. I also support a ton of texture packs. I am currently making a full list. (Can help people modding)

Go for it! I think incorporating the landscape into the actual buildings is something not often attempted in Minecraft, and it's something that will be detailed and interesting on the small scale (houses and such) and quite impressive on the large scale (towers and vertical agricultural farms). I'm intrigued by the Gwanggyo Power Center myself.
Now if only there were more growies in minecraft. er...I mean, besides the three kinds of trees, wheat, red & yellow flowers, and two kinds of mushrooms. I mean, where's the carrots and cabbages? C'mon, Notch!
Edit: Is there any way to pull up that abandoned one for RC to work off of? Or is that build gone forever.
-- The server' been upgraded for Patch 1.4, and the Daro is cleaned out. Let's build it back up again! New cartograph & new texture packs today, too. Check the wiki for more!
Alright y'all, It's Martinotti here and it is high time I get Memberized. This is my 3rd attempt on a White-list build because of some conflicting reviews. I call this masterpiece Ode-deux-los-piquenos-Ittonitram. Or in lame mans terms,
Memoir to the little Martinotti... Don't ask why. I'm afraid that I have no pictures of the inside although i'm sure that you have come to expect a certain level from my previous builds... Any hoo, here they are.
The mods/admins are ****ing assholes. One said: "READ THE ****ING WIKI FOR ANSWERS!" A simple "yes" or "no" with a very brief explanation could suffice just fine. OR just politely tell the check the wiki. Bunch of wankers, they are.
Well, if you join this server it looks good.... cant say anything else nice about it. i joined and spent most of the time looking at things with 2 friends, i asked if i could build anywhere, and got a "strike" apparently if new people join and ask pointless questions such as "can i build anywhere" you get a strike, and if you get to many you can get banned.. hmm i thought the point of mods wasn't just to ban people but to help the newbies get to know what they are doing other than just say "GO TO THE ****ING FORUMS" so basically if you feel like searching their forums for all of your answers instead of just asking someone to take 5 seconds to simply answer your question, this server is perfect for you.
have a nice day :biggrin.gif:

I'm sorry you had a negative experience on the server.
We recieve many visitors a day and the repeated questions over and over can wear on the last nerve of the most patient server staff.
Should you ever decide to return to the Voxel Box, I highly suggest keeping a browser tab with the FAQ open in case you have a question -- and there are often MANY questions, as our server is quite a bit different in scope and purpose than the average Minecraft "SMP" server. We find that well over 90% of the questions that get asked can be answered more immediately and completely using this document rather than flooding chat with the same questions and answers over and over again for individuals, who, are potentially going to leave the server in thirty seconds, anyway, as you did. Then all we've done is wasted our time typing out an answer that was already made conveniently available elsewhere, losing precious time from our own server-related projects.
We're not here to hold your hand, we are here to point you to the resources you need to get your question answered and have a positive experience on the server. On our server, that means doing a little bit of reading. If you can't be arsed to do that much, you are not the type of person who will stick around our server anyway. We are all readers. If we type the answers out, you'd have to read them to understand them anyway? Getting them ont he FAQ means your answers will not only be more complete and include video tutorials maps and other cool stuff to help you get your bearings on the server, they also won't scroll away before you've even had a chance to read them because someone else is flooding chat with more questions that are also answered on the wiki.
The FAQ is at the following URL in case you missed it while in-game:
plusnine, may I please be allowed on the server to finish my whitelist accepetance build? I won't take that much bandwidth and I really want to get the build done before My builder's block comes back :sad.gif:
