Well I think it looks great. I haven't had much chance to explore the world you guys are creating yet but the harbor looks fantastic and I love the idea of building watercraft. Maybe even modern creations like submarines or carriers? Or underwater areas built on a glass dome/sphere concept? Minus the Gungans, of course.
Unfortunately I'm house-sitting this week and computer access is troublesome at best, but I can't wait to explore more next week!
The next in the ever growing fleet of international class boats is Le Négociant, or, 'The Trader'.
Designed on a 3-deck system, this Galleon has a forecastle housing for 18 able seamen, beds for six officers or guests as well as the captain's quarters. The boat has a double deck storage, kitchen, separate navigation/cartography room and two rooms that can be used for guest beds or officer beds.
Le Négociant boosts a revolutionary and unique rigging system on the Voxelbox. With six main sails, four stay sails, 2 jibs and a spanker sail, this boat is a huge leap forward from the two mast, two sail boats previously constructed.
All these sails stabilize and speed up the ship, creating safer, faster and more profitable journey's trans-ocean. It's deep hull can hold up to twice the storage and twice the man power, which ultimately trumps the flat-deck Ambassador. Due to the amount of cloth involved, the industry is shocked by demand, which raises the cost of building.
So far, one has been commissioned for a potential route between the Citadel and Triana, an every flourishing town on south Venificus. Once set up, the route is expected to help voyagers move westward, onto the unexplored and unclaimed lands on Vemificus.
Finally back at home and working on my (real) Pantheon again, the exterior needs a few touch-ups and other than that it's time to crack down on what will be (unfortunately) a massive interior(s). Here are some samples:
Of course, the engine's perspective makes it appear bit stretched, but trust me - I have taken great care to honor the actual building's various proportions and details as much as possible, given the limitations. (Although it's built "twice" to scale, if you consider a block to be one cubic meter.)
But at any rate, it's still a work-in-progress. And I'll be really glad when I can finally consider it done, that's for sure.

Since it's so huge and had to be built down into the ground (down to adminium, it looks like), I think it would look cool if it was buried in sand or dirt, with the top and part of the entrance uncovered, as if it was an ancient building that had been buried and found, completely intact. It would certainly make the surrounding area not only look nicer and more natural, but I think it would add a certain flair to it. It would be interesting to come up with a story as to WHY the building is buried (if it's in sand: quicksand of sand storm? otherwise, a result of war? you decide), and would add some more originality to it, as well.
It looks great, anyways. :biggrin.gif:
Oh, by the way, yeah I'm back. Until Comcast goes and screws with our service again later this week. >_>
Hope to be able to drop by tonight. :smile.gif:

But now some honest words: This is kind of like the best Minecraft Server I have ever seen. The builds are awesome, the detailing is awesome, the people are awesome and the awesomeness is awesome.

the moonliner will soon be available for anyone to travel to the moon. here's a preview:
