Experience in Minecraft: been playing since early alpha
Experience in TF2(Not Important): got a while ago...didnt play much to many hacked matches
Why you think you should be a beta tester: I can be a great person to test things out., dont get angry when dead, and could make some beastly forts.
What is the FIRST letter in this post?: W
Comments: i really want to be accepted and try this, it seems like the best server there could be on minecraft and looks/sounds very beastly (all truth no kissing up here)
How about we both go to this server while Fort Wars is bannin' us?

It's pretty good, no whitelist, no griefing. I'm not very far in it, so if you haven't played it yet we can live in a house together or somethin'.

Experience in TF2(Not Important): I haven't played it
Why you think you should be a beta tester: I like testing, especially if it includes tnt and pvp! >:biggrin.gif:

Hope I can do it with you guys soon.
Name: Dragovian
Experience in Minecraft: Been in minecraft for 5 months now, been in heaps of servers, seen the rise and crash of many, and it's all been worthwhile.
Experience in TF2(Not Important): I played TF2 on and off on steam, have not played lately however.
Why you think you should be a beta tester: Because in the short time I played TF2...IT WAS AMAZING.
TF2/minecraft crossover would be a FANTASTIC idea! I'd love to test out the closed beta and give info on what works and what doesn't.
What is the FIRST letter in this post?: W
Comments: I live in Australia, 17, and never have I been banned.
Name: IrishPirate262_
Experience in Minecraft: Played actively since October.
Experience in TF2(Not Important): Never played it ;_;
Why you think you should be a beta tester: It sounds like a very interesting, and I would love to try it out.
What is the FIRST letter in this post?: W
Comments: This sounds like a lot of fun.
Experience in Minecraft: I have played since alpha (mid august ish) I have moderate levels of skill with redstone and traps.
Experience in TF2(Not Important): none, but I do play gang garrison quite frequently
Why you think you should be a beta tester: This looks like wicked fun and I would love to help to get this going, plus I tend to have ideas/plans that are way outside the normal lines of thinking, due to this I tend to find problems with rules and other such thing that most other people overlook.

Comments: You might consider doing something like hiding chests/caches of rare/powerful blocks or other items throughout the map. (sort of like unlock-ables)
EDIT: here are several more suggestions/comments/questions
1) Instead of glass the divider could be made of wood/planks, the purpose of this is twofold. First, it keeps you from seeing what the opposing team is building, and second, when the match starts it could be burnt down instead of deleted to provide a bad-ass start to the match
2) Instead of one wall you might use a system similar to this:
[] [] [] []
this would work like so, the outside walls would serve to create a no-man's land in between the sides so that you don't hit traps immediately upon start, also they would serve as a sort of "on you marks" to indicate when a match is about to begin (example; outside walls are lit on fire, all players stop building and gear up, middle wall is lit, let the carnage begin)
3) about how deep will the arena be? (as in how deep underground will it go)
4) can we use other team fortress 2 skins?
5) might I suggest making TNT a bit more scarce than the rest of the blocks? (maybe a half stack)
6) here is my suggestion for a standard load-out during the combat phase;
1 stack of arrows + a bow
one set of iron armor + iron sword
1 stack of dirt/cobble
2 food items
7) if you like my idea for hidden chest here are some things they might contain;
lava
extra TNT'
SMALL amounts of obsidian (1-10 blocks, use it strategically)
diamond equipment
eggs (for a dash of humor)
snowballs
8) if anyone wants to use a certain class here are my shoddy conversions of TF2 classes into Minecraftfriendly versions;
engineer- only one that can place blocks other than cobble/dirt after the match starts, given dispensers, redstone,extra arrows for dispensers
heavy- gets diamond armor/sword but no food
sniper- gets 4 stacks of arrows and a bucket of water (jarate)
pyro- has flint/steel and a stack of netherrack
scout- gets leather armor ( not as heavy as iron) and 5 food items
medic- only gets a wooden sword but also gets 15 food items ( he can't eat them, only give them out to team mates)
demoman- gets a stack of TNT that he can place during the match
spy- gets a pick, he is the only person that can dig underground during the match
please note that these items are given in addition to the basic kit unless specified otherwise (scouts leather > basic iron)
I think that is all for now, I will surely have more ideas in the future, thank you for you time and I hope these ideas have been helpful.
PS. sorry for and mistakes, as of writing this I have been awake for about 20 hours
EDIT #2
I don't know how close to tf2 you want to make this but a payload style mode would be very do-able(chest mine-cart full of TNT) you could even to a ctf-ish map by using a rare blocks for flags. One last thing, deaths,I (and I probably speak for everyone) would much prefer to be tele'd to something along the lines of an adminium viewing stand upon death as opposed to getting banned, yes there will be hackers that abuse this but with small matches it shouldn't be too hard to keep track of deaths.
