The program worked great getting the map into the game (OMEN gave me a little trouble, but I've gotten past it).
However, while gravity works and blocks like sand and gravel will fall, the water isn't updating or spreading. Is that still something that isn't solved, or did something go wrong?
If sand falls then water should also run. If you're trying to get water from the ocean edge, try removing the blocks at the edge which fill up instantly and one next to it which might not fill up at first. Then fill the second hole and open it up again. Removing blocks next to water should trigger the flooding.
Nope, sorry. It's weird; I would agree that the water should fill. I tried deleting several blocks of sand mid-map that should have been filled in, and nothing.
^Thanks Danneh! I'll try that tonight when I have some time to play around with it. I thought I had used "Moving Water," but honestly I didn't look that close at the other option for water. Hopefully that'll fix it.
EDIT: That fixed it! "Still Water" will flood, but "Water" will not....might be something that needs fixing. Thanks again!

When i upload minecraft can't read the maps...
Me too. I have Windows Vista, and I blame that. I could run the whole program and do everything, but when I try to use a map (one downloaded by this program) for my server it can't read it and generates a new level instead. Somehow the data is getting corrupted.
There was a problem with my download methods, so I've had to rewrite most of the program. It should run a bit faster with the new code. I'll upload the new version in a moment.

Make sure that your sever_level.dat file is under 1MB in size. That's a problem I was having.
It uploads any map. I need a mod to rename the topic from "Minecraft Level Uploader (for OMEN maps)" to "Minecraft Level Manager" for me to make it more clear.
Version 1.7 now released; just a small update so that you can tell whether it's downloading or not. I also edited my first post to make it less confusing for new users.
Edit: I don't have much experience with Java, but you can use Peerko's Java app if you're not using Windows.
heya ridge, is there any way for you to write this in java, so that people that ern't on windows can use it? i'm not sure if you know java or not, but it would be a big help to me and a lot of other people.

There's not much to see there, I haven't really started yet. But anyone should be able to confirm the problem from that link.
