I put a suggestion to stop this kind of thing in the suggestions section in a thread called ecosystem. it is basically a system that sets up non random spawning while being realistic. example: undead spawn from graves scattered through the map or from just under the dirt.

My sister had an idea about the mob spawning: if they spawn in the sky and fall (without damages), they will fall on the roof of the fort, not inside... but that,s just an idea and mabye someone already said it, I didn't read the posts
