This post will teach YOU, how to construct your very own Mob Fence™. It allows easy access to your precious structures, while keeping mobs out!
Step 1. Find a suitable location. Must have access to water. Build in a lake or river is easiest.
In this case, we choose here.
Optional Step: Build the base of a tower. It might look like this.
Step 2. Now, build the Mob Fence™. It has to be 1 above water level, and leave at least 3 empty blocks in between the fence and what it is fencing in. In this case, we built it surrounding our tower base.
Step 3. Clear away any nearby terrain that might give mobs the ability to jump onto, and over, the fence, such as the following.
Step 4. Clear a 2x3 area under the Mob Fence™, like in the following. This is how you will get past it. Mobs are too stupid to learn the complicated skill of "swimming".
In the case of creeper attacks, Mob Fence™ can be quickly repaired, as shown in the following picture.
