Creepers don't blow up blocks in these maps.
Water and lava don't flow; sand and gravel don't fall.
Pretty easy to understand, right?
Well. Let's see how to fix it.
OFFERED SOLUTION: (I don't personally know if it works)

Here are the steps I followed to make fixed OMEN maps for survival:
1. Create and save your map using OMEN.
2. Unpack the level using 7-Zip or WinRAR.
3. Delete the first five bytes of the unpacked level using a hex editor.
4. Rename the edited unpacked level to "minecraft0.lvl".
5. Move "minecraft0.lvl" into your hacked client folder and load with F1.
6. Save to your account with the in-game menu.

I'll look into this later.
A DIFFERENT POSSIBLE SOLUTION: (I am equally not sure about if it works but I don't dispute it)

The other option is to hack Omen to use the new level saving class from survival. It's longer way round, but you don't have to mess with silly hex editors and hacked clients.

I'll do it, and as another sub-test, I'll use the hacked client to load a single player created map, save it, load it and then resave it as a test.
Edit: I can confirm this is any map saved in the Multiplayer format. Singleplayer maps (saved and resaved in the custom client) do not have physics problems.
(converted to survivaltest links, they both work for me)
Load html is the page that recieves the GET request from Minecraft.
The save.html is the one that begins to write the file on the server. The directory for the files is unknown to me, but they are saved with the "level.dat" filename.
I've compared a multiplayer-generated map with a singleplayer-generated map (both unpacked) and the key difference is at the end of the file. The multiplayer map (top image) has an author name and a map name whilst the singleplayer map (bottom image) doesn't, and has something different.

No, I didn't use your map. I made a new flatgrass map using OMEN. Just using yours as an example.

Sounds cool, I'll try it, just what do I use to unpack it? :tongue.gif:
I've made some links to programs for the instructions now.
Edit: I'm only suggesting it as a temporary solution until OMEN is changed to work for survival.

Awwwww so a fix was found? All I had left to do was get rid of a few more lava pockets and then fill in all the caverns and put grass on top and I'd have converted a normal level to flatgrass with stone underneath. Oh well if this fix works then I can start on my epic castle survival map I want to make.

First one is the survival map file (GZIPPED)
Second is the Omen map fill (GZIPPED)
Osici, it is to do with Omen or the server generated maps, but we have no idea what is causing the problem, and it's not map sizes.
Survival singleplayer saves quite a few things that Minecraft multiplayer doesn't (because it's Creative mode)
---> I'm not sure if it's OMEN or the hacked client, but directly Creative -> Survival is just fine.

Both were saved via the custom client.

Me and Peerko were discussing these things in the IRC (private) before. I changed the bytes at the end but it didn't affect anything.

Hey! thats my map! (that I stole from someone...)
Yea. the physics are not working on mine, but yours work. Is that my map (I mean the one on your account)?

Wait. Can't you add those bytes back on to get it working in omen(and repack it)?
