Keep them as they are. I like them actually being a threat. As someone already pointed out: Survival is somewhat like a rogue like game - It's really hard and you die often - but the feeling of success after beating a mob is great.
Or 7 creepers in an enclosed space! I just managed to do that once. I had 1.5 heart left.
if your in a zombie-infested-post-apocalyptic-world and your walking around fending off zombies and pigs and weird exploding things would you ask some some higher person to make things easier on you?... it just doesn't happen, the hard to kill enemy's are a MUST for survival it is "survival Mode" not kill as many as you can mode (although...) and i agree completely with Nutnoze, the point of survival is to make a stronger base/fort to fend off and survive against the outer world :biggrin.gif:
Life isn't fair so the harder the enemy's are the better (with in reason though) yes i think the creepers should be easier to kill than mobs and such but not to the point of 2 hits :S also making one weaker to strengthen the rest is a bit futile, make the rest stronger to make the one weaker :tongue.gif:
P.S. sorry for a possibly confusing post, just felt like saying what was on my mind :wink.gif:
I'm not thinking about making the game easier, just making each enemy different.
They are different. Skeletons and zombies both take five melee hits to kill, but zombies take only three hits from arrows as opposed to five arrow hits to the skeletons.
Arrows can run out fast, so I often find myself looking out and hunting for skeletons. It's a nice, little goal for me. :smile.gif:
@Gaell: I like that idea, but maybe it could be a different type of enemy instead of zombies. The enemy would die in a couple of hits, but would always thrive in packs. With the varied damage with the arrow hits, a one-hit kill with an arrow would be pretty cool so that you could snipe them from afar with arrows until they get too close. I'm imagining a LOTR-style army scene with the archers here!
