You can melee and fire arrows at the same time.
also, it doesn't look like theres a cap on arrow firing speed, so just hit tab really fast to send a load of arrows flying.

Mobs are invincible for about a second after you damage them, so it doesn't really matter.
They do, they just don't grow on dirt, they have to be on grass.

Minecraft land cubes cannot be created or destroyed in survival mode. They can only be transferred.
You CAN delete cubes. If you build a tower all the way up to the top of the map and build on it, the blocks disappear from your inventory, but won't be placed.

Yeah but how often are you going to hike up to the top of a tower and sacrifice blocks to the sky gods?

If you need to build out straight in front of you, then you have to get to the edge of the blocks you're standing on, and sidle up just barely over it, to where you can see the leading face of the block you are standing on. The best way I've found to do this is to go forwards and backwards at a slightly forward angle, kinda like when you are parallel parking, until the face becomes visible. That way, you don't accidentally launch yourself into the void by stepping a little too far when you only needed a little baby step to go.
Edit: Or, if you're talking about the many blocks of dirt more than you can manage to ever possibly carry. Yeah. That totally sucks.
Also, Hunter, are you saying it's a ***** to clear out areas because of all those resource cubes?
i think he meant that he wanted to build a stone path on that area...
just that there are too many resources laying around...
and his inv is full... thus unable to build on it...
the only way to build on those is to either wait like 5 mins for it to dissappear...
or... dump ur blochs somewhere and come back and continue building... >.<
When you reach the max number of cubes, you cant pick up more.
It ALSO seems that you cant build on the little cube pick-ups. Which is annoying.
Why not just dig up once.
Like
# = Stone
O = Air
Because if youre digging down you need to dig across first.
And to dig across then up you need 2 squares for yourself +1 to go up into
#Stone
WWater
OAir
#W #
#W #
#W # # #
#W # O #
#W W #
#W W #
#W # # # I love how air comes out of nowhere.
Trees will grow 1 tile over from other things (like buildings.)
I just planted a sprout 1 tile from a building and the sprout destroyed part of my building when it treed.
Sprouts turning into trees will destroy things.

If you don't realize what the matter is with this picture, then you haven't played long enough.
I really want to make a concrete path...
...soon after I fell into that lava pit... D:

PS: Shouldn't these tips be added to the first post of the thread, too? Categorised, maybe, for ease of finding the ones you want?
I think that says it all.

**** SOMEONE SAID IT
Yes, exactly D:
Also, the best way to make an entrance to a base is build a wall over water, mobs all float to the top, they won't go under water to get in.
