Finally manage to load up a game and played for some time, after a while I discovered a nice underwater cavern. I swam down and eventually saw what looked like lava, UNDERWATER! So I swam closer until I was suddenly in lava and burnt to death, I know I wasn't drowning due to the extreme damage I was taking.
I'm sort of thinking at level generation water and lava managed to be created next to each other deep down and were ignored instead of creating a layer of stone where they touched.

This isn't a survival mode bug, it happens in both versions, it's because "UpdateNeighbours" function isn't called. Same bug as floating sand (in air).
This is rather baffling (using Firefox 3 on Mac OS X 10.6) but the mobs aren't displaying any more. I can hear them, and I usually realise they're near me when suddenly I get smacked around the place and killed within seconds by a mob rush of mobs (no pun intended) that I can't see and therefore can't attack.
Anyone else had this happen or is it just me? I can't see *any* mobs, but I know they're there.

Edit: Restarting the game fixed this. I am not sure what caused it.
Dont try saving, it doesnt load the survival mode.
I think survival is only off the test for now. so never quit lol.
Yea same happened, i saved and then it didnt reload and now grayed.
Dont know if its a bug though.
Edit: And deep underground, I heard footsteps on dirt. This was on a Huge map.

Same here, on Safari 4.
How do you reinstall?
