A new revolution of economy based servers is upon us. The goal: Buy the penthouse.
Allow me to explain the process of this tedious task. This is not some 20 minute maximum survival games round. No! This is a month long, or longer, race to reach the top of the cloud breaking hotel.
Where:
- I currently own a minecraft server with 60 player slots, and 3 GB Ram. This could easily be enough to withstand the awesomeness of what is planned. When:
- When there are a sufficient amount of builders, and the plan is all set and ready to go. Who:
- Xapien (me) - Server owner.
- HellTeKid - Plugin Manager
- Builders (you) - We need to build a lot. The plans are huge, and the buildings themselves are bigger.
- Coder - If you can, we may need help making custom plugins once building is done. Why:
- Servers who claim to be economy based are mixing up the definition. All I see are thousands of rows of player shops, chat spammed and logs filled with people typing up 'WTS this and that' or 'WTT this for this'.
The true meaning of an economy server is the complete opposite. It's where the player gets to choose how they make money, and how they spend it (and what they spend it on). Without having to worry about who will buy their enchanted bow, or if their player-shop (1000's of blocks away) will be seen by someone. What:
- Have you ever wanted to live in a penthouse in minecraft? Well, we here on PentCraft are going to allow one out of many, the opportunity to win one of these bad-boys!
- A simple description: there are an Estimated 30 Floors, and only One Penthouse.
The process you must take from first joining the server is by participating in General Activities you would find throughout the world of minecraft. These activities being (but not limited to); Digging, Mining, Fishing, Killing, Farming, and other things we didn't feel like listing here. After you get your resources, they will in-turn be sold to the shop to increase the stash of cash that resides in the bank.
After you've achieved the required amount, you must buy a Room on Floor #1.
You then have the option to play Mini-Games, Survival Games, Kit PvP, etc. There are also quests to do in the RPG World, or gather resources in survival and sell them in the shop, once again; for money in the bank. When your stash of cash grows, you will be able to afford a room on floor #2 to ascend through the tower and try to beat the other players in achieving the Penthouse Suite.
Continuing this process will make you ascend through the floors, and once you've reached the maximum floor and have the money; You will be able to buy the
Penthouse, making you the winner of the game. That being said; Once someone wins the game, the reward is given and the entire tower resets, only to start the game again.
