A couple of other members have added their ideas as well, so theres a couple of good ways to do it in there, feel free to add it to the tutorial list.

we need a guide on how to find those damn slimes.
There pretty hard to come across. Ive been playing for months and have only seen 2. (One medium and one large)
Just dig right down to the bottom of the map, I dont think there effected by light, so make a big room and leave some torches around and come back every now and then. Since you left torches other mobs wont spawn, so youll only get slimes in theory.
Thats pretty much what I did by accident when I was mining out a large room at the bottom of the map.
Hello everybody! Just thought I'd generate a little bit more exposure for my Redstone tutorials on teh Youtubes. My philosophy when making these videos is on really explaining how the Redstone works, and of course this involves actual voice guidance. You can find a diagram anywhere, but true understanding means you can make your own diagrams and make your circuits freeform.
I currently have two tutorials; one on some simple logic gates and which is best for an open/close door, and one on hiding said circuit so you don't have gaping holes in your walls. I would love to make more, so if you have any suggestions, I'm totally game for them.
At the very least you should watch the first few seconds of the "Hiding your Redstone Circuits" video for some hilarious pig action. I think he was trying to atone for being so obnoxious in the first video...
taodih are you still interested in maintaining this project? If you no longer have time or interest I would be willing to maintain a tutorial, guides, and tricks directory similar to Minecraft "Let's Play" Series Directory or possibly even merge the two projects into one.
