My demands have not yet been met, i shall continue to transfer this list until they are... or until notch give me a piggie! :biggrin.gif:
ok, monsters naow, im thinking...
Golems (rare encounters and would drop alot of what they're made of [I.E. dirt golem drops like 64 dirt])
Shadows (they only spawn in PITCH black like under trees at night and mainly caves, ANY light burns them, even torches and they're fast and very powerful)
Dragons (not huge ones, just little guys that float a block high so they can avoid most traps)
Goblin (maybe they can make villages and stuff too)
Wolves/Wild Dogs (they're just all around vicious but will be distracted by piggies)
Tree Nymph (they spawn around trees and will heal you if you use a bucket on them [like, collect pixie dust or something else zelda related XD] and would attack you if you hurt their tree)
I could go on and on basically, now im thinking of other stuff like...
Collar (for dogs/wolves, you would drop some bacon to distract em and then collar them, then they'd follow you and hurt enemies but again, would be distracted by pigs)
Magic staff (would be used for using magic attacks
Rune stones (they'll drop magical runes which can be used with a magic staff to fire magic attacks) I'm thinking: Fire runes, Water runes, Earth runes, Air runes, Light runes, Health runes (Light runes can light up an area too)
Realistic environment (I.E. if biomes are made then if you spent too long in the desert you would like, start loosing HP from heatstroke)
Monster villages should include: Goblins, of all ranks. There should be a leader, peasants, warriors, gaurds, and all that.
Animals they have under control. In fences and what not.
The Goblins would send out patrols, to watch the area surrounding the village, and if they see you they either attack you or run back to the village to get help. If you get close to the village, the gaurds will attack.
Then there could also be Human villages, where there is a "King", and Knights, Farmers, peasants and stuff.
They would have farms, and all the animals in barns. The Humans welcome you though, they don't fight unless you attack someone. The gaurds will try to arrest you if you steal or murder. You can trade with the villagers. They would also have patrols, that fight the Goblins and all other mobs if they see them.
There could also be Neutral people. Travelers of all types, Goblins and Humans. And Highway Men who will try to attack if you pass their road, or trespass in their mines. Bandits, take over caves and build small campsites. If they kill you they take all your **** and you have to try to get it back.
Both villages would be neatly lit up at night, and oppose each other. Perhaps later you could join a side or something. Some villages would be bigger then others, and more organized. There could be like, 5 human models and 5 goblin models, and the population of the villages would be decent enough for you to be afraid of the gaurds. But also possible to eventually destroy if you patiently widdle away at there defenses. The Kings would be protected thoroughly, and would be very challenging to take down.
Obviously this can't ALL be done in one Friday Update. But I'm hoping for small goblin villages first, that we can fight and look at. Clever AI, and stuff like that.
Oh, and I almost forgot Pirates.
They would be in the neutral NPC section. But there would also be a Human and Goblin Navy. Obviously the humans being more organized, and Goblins just trying to raid everything in sight. I don't the the oceans are big enough for these things yet though, or the ships. He needs to add some sort of larger ship.
also, there needs to be better boats, like iron boats, they dont break if you NUDGE INTO A PIECE OF LAND AR 1 MPH, and if you craft 2 boats on top of each other, it would be able to hold more people
also, i think pipes would be nice, not for any particular reason, just to screw with water and lava
A lantern you can carry with you. Requires coal to keep going.
no, unless you have to have it selected for it to light, still, putting dynamic lighting with constant movements would be hard to do, thats why moving things dont have shadows. i'd say your fine just placing torches everywhere. my lantern idea is good enough, it just ensures stronger lighting and it lasts longer
[quote=RichardJames]I would like to see different botanical specimens. For instance conifers or maybe some small bush.
Fish in water. Some way to make aquariums for your house.
This. I would love aquariums sooo much :smile.gif:
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
"Right now, there are two groups of gamers in the world: Those who haven't yet heard of Minecraft, and those who are hopelessly, helplessly addicted to it."
Torches in a minecart are pretty hard/impossible. Dynamic lighting and sources are block based. Minecarts are entities- they do not have a definite block based position (They do have a position though.) Combining lightsources and entities would be difficult.
That's easily solvable. You could determine what block space a light is in and it's direction and shine the light from that block in that direction (the light would be block based, light torches except directional). If the player/cart moves around in that block the light source doesn't move, but only changes direction if it has too. If the player moves to another block, so does the light source.

Edit:
Monsters:
Skeleton types (Skeleton Archer, Skeleton Knight, Skeleton Healer)
Goblin types (Goblin Archer, Goblin Knight, Goblin Healer)
Necromancer (same as an actual necromancer, he summons the undead)
Fire archer skeletons (can set flammable stuff on fire)
Hellhound (found near the lava plate, can walk on lava but is hurt by water)
Demon Horse (is a normal horse by day but turns deadly by night, hard to tell difference between demon and normal horses)
Sea Snake (lives in water and is like a zombie, just follows the player but does low damage)
Anglar Fish (Lives in deep, dark water and uses light bauble on its head to see)
Sand worm (large, fairly weak, worm that pops up in desert sometimes)
Animals:
Fish (fish)
Bird (Bird)
Snake (Snake)
Horses (use with saddle and you can control it)
Camel (basically the desert version of horses)
Boar (Like a pig but drops 2-4 meat and fight back if you attack it, you can still saddle it)
Items:
Enchantment stone (created with a full 3x3 grid of a rune I.E a full 3x3 of fire runes)
Enchanted Sword (Sword and Enchantment stone right above it)
Enchanted Arrows (recipe for arrows but replace flint with enchantment rune I.E. fire arrows can set flammable items on fire)
Hard Boiled Egg (Egg heated in the furnace)
Closet (2 chests stacked on each other, doesn't need room above it but needs room in front of it)
Rope (climbable)
Net (for Fishing, right click on water)
Chain (full vertical 3 square line of iron bars)
Linked Carts (recipe: Mine-cart Chain, just like that, right click it on another linked mine-cart to link them)
Chain Net (For creature hunting, made with an X of chains on a 3x3 grid)
Cage Cart (for transporting captured creatures I.E. pigs, sheep, etc
Lantern (a torch surrounded by glass, last a lot longer than torches [when update makes torches run out] to refill just right click it with a torch)
Lantern cart (recipe: a cart with a lantern above it, it just an automatically lit up mine-cart
Thats all for now
Tacos. Must have. In game. now.
You forgot the hot sauce...
Crap screwed up quote thing but anyways Camels outside of desert is what I want

no, those camels fly and shoot rockets out of there 14 humps

:ohmy.gif: you're right, i didn't carry the notch
yes, but redstone instead of a furnace so we don't waste tons of wood and coal to keep the water flowing (this is good for my pipes idea :3

That spouts annoying and loud phrases with Rick Astley playing in the background

For the lift platform perhaps the following, ]" title="-<->" /> :string/rope/chain, possibly?
[] []
]" title="-<->" /> [] ]" title="-<->" />
For the pulley
]" title="-<->" /> ]" title="-<->" /> ]" title="-<->" />
]" title="-<->" /> ]" title="-<->" />
]" title="-<->" /> [] ]" title="-<->" />
Again, ]" title="-<->" /> would be rope/string/chain
