Before(my last topic), I couldn't play /game/ on my crapputer, first because of epiclowfps then because of the game not displaying(after, it worked, but there was more epiclowfps(not posted-about) . Now I downloaded/installed the free trial of this: http://www.iomatic.com/product/product. ... eoptimizer and the game worked better(but not extremely better(I know, bad grammar)), and freezes periodically, but it usually turns into a blackscreen every 3/4 of a minecraft day. When I refresh the page/go back to it and start my map, my work on the world since last save vanishes, but my inventory stays, and I spawn where I was before the incident.(I lost a wood pressure plate, lever, and coal torch this way, but farmed coal. )Also after I click "save and return to menu" and the bar is ----- far from the right end("saving chunks"), it turns into a blackscreen. Everything saves, though. Usually.
anyway, PLEEEEAAAASSSSSSEEEEE HEEEEEEELLLLLPPPP
(I also put this in Support a long time ago, but it's as if it's a town)
It blackscreened instantly the first time I tried, then the second time it went back to 0-2 fps after a short while.
the time it takes to craft a boat, to be exact, so no, it didnt work.
I'm getting a new (and hopefully not shitty) laptop in about six months(4 GBs of RAM, certainly better than 448 MB's), but what until then? (and I'm not willing to do anything that isn't free/less than $15 USD(lol again))
Your lack of RAM is contributing to your problem. Since you have a 32-bit, you should just get 3GB of RAM. Might want to get a better CPU, but you don't -have- to. Your game should run decently. A quality graphics card would help as well.
I feel for you bro, my computer is CRAPPY.HORSE.****!
I have to play minecraft on a old family computer, but even then with the new lag updates its becoming laggyer and laggyer on that computer too!

How to feel cool on Minecraft forums:
>New Feature is announced
>Begin claiming it ruins the game "MINECRAFT ISN'T A BED/DOG/HAVING FUN SIMULATOR, IT'S ABOUT STANDING IN YOUR HOUSE WITH NOTHING TO DO ALL DAY REMOVE EVERY FEATURE GUH"
if you've died recently its most probably the respawn bug
this causes 1-2 fps constantly according to another thread its because the game keeps trying to respawn you
nope. Also, spelling fixed(I hate people who think horrible spelling on purpose is cool )

same thing. family computer. NOTE: indev runs awesome, and finite maps now would probably run decent. I'm hoping for those next week.

Buy more RAM. Now.
And if you're not going to buy more RAM, enjoy your ****terrible performance on Minecraft for the next six months, because it's your only solution.
Unless you died recently, as someone in the thread said. If you died recently ingame, I can post instructions on how to fix that problem.

... no.
He has a 2GHz single-core processor. Now, sure, RAM is important, and with only 448 MB he's not going to play anything, but that's far from his only problem.
A complete overhaul would be in order. No performance-bottlenecking component could be spared. Really, single-core processors are obsolete in the modern desktop environment, and even if they weren't as a whole, his setup is woefully old. New motherboard, new processor, new+more RAM, all of which would suggest getting a new graphics card, maybe new hard drives and a new case...

I must've missed the single core bit, then. LOL. Yeah, he should just buy a new Computer if he has a single core processor.

Make no mistake, changing all those components is getting a new computer, Ship of Theseus be damned.
