I am now having problems with the server taking my 2.5ghz quad core all the way up to 90% usage and only using 500 meg of ram when its configured to use 1500. This issue has only started happening recently, I will donate if that is what it takes to get this bug out. After it is fixed, expect a donation.
lol i wont see any of the donation goes to Doridian
everyone bug Doridian to comment his code better! it makes my head hurt they way he does some things
Posting to say i love this software, definitely improved my minecraft experience thank you, ill be donating soon. As of the latest update i crash after about 25 minutes of uptime if there is a user of two on. I've tried redownloading mcadmin and using stock settings and still have this issue, all oddly after the most recent update. Anyone else having a similar situation?
So here is what causes one of the major crashes.
If the player is in window mode and presses the X instead of disconnecting the server freaks out as this is bad disconnect and crashes! spamming the log with player disconnected badly bla bla bla
Check your logs mine was 1.5GB! from this bug
1 am now an im tired to fix it as i spent all my time tracking down what caused this crash
MCAdmin seems broken with the new server release. Says "Starting server" and a couple other lines over and over again when trying to start the server, and won't ever start, looping infinitely.
EDIT: Never mind, seems to be a problem with Runecraft.
i keep getting kicked from my server whenever a explodes. Something about invalid packet IDs. So far it's been packet 60 before an MCAdmin update and after it it's packet 197. Just wanted to report it.
Client->Server: Invalid packet ID: 197.
Oh this may be a general SMP error but zombies aren't catching on fire when the sun comes up. I'd guess skeletons don't burn either. I just haven't come across any yet.

Well, I toyed around for a long time trying to get McAdmin to work, to no avail. I finally decided to try out my McAdmin.exe.old file, which was from a late-October version. Sure enough, it works! I get java errors now and then, but it works a hell of a lot better than the new versions are.
I'm pretty much resigned to the fact that we won't see a working update to this again.
Edit: let me clarify, I don't fault the modding community at any point, of course. It's the nature of notch's code. I'm sure it just became impossible to keep up with all of the updates when it's so difficult to read the code.
Windows 7 64 bits specifically, maybe? Could it be the stupid Atheros network chipset causing more trouble? Could it be that when I go into my Control Panel the Java app. says it's 'Java (32 bit)'?
Major problem with MCadmin right now is that it crashes you if you are near a creeper that explodes. Everything else would be fine, but this is the biggest pain in my ass right now! Any fix on this would be amazing! Also, Toxicated, I blame MCadmin for taking your rank away, wasnt me!

This may or not be a problem with MCAdmin itself, I haven't ran vanilla to test it but I get an invalid packet error when tnt or a creeper blows up now.

Mine crashes as soon as you log in. Giving up on MCAdmin for now as the server has been completely unstable for a while now.
mines running fine, ive never ran my server with anything but MCAdmin since it came out in junction with hey0 and runecraft and several plugins. Its the most stable as its ever been right now.

Same issues here.
If you want to give it a shot, I uploaded the older exe at http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZM0LLHVJ

Install the 32 and 64. That might help.
