At this point, you can bet the Notch doesn't need any more bitching. He has received two lifetimes worth of bitching from the whiners when the Halloween update came out. You can consider this topic grossly redundant with no need for further discussion.
I agree, I'd like to see biomes stretch AT LEAST to the maximum render distance.
I'm pretty sure that he's going to do this anyway though, this halloween update added lots of unrefined new content, and little tweaking. It will come soon, I am sure.

Everyone at this forum really needs to see the potential in the stuff he is doing, we are TESTING this game right now so ofcourse the biomes are small. It's alot easier to see how they will generate, than when they will be large. When he has fixed everything it will be alot better, i mean how awesome wouldnt it be with hell portals in multiplayer and trying to survive together with your friends against numerous monsters, or even attempting to conquer hell with your friends. That things dont work as intended immediatly after a huge patch in a game at alpha phase is to be expected.
