121 doesn't work. /register, /login etc. - unkown command.
Also users reports that sometimes you can use commands without login (old hey0 API? maybe something with plugins order in plugins= derictive?). Check this please.
Lovely how this was created to solve a problem which is going on -right now-
When it was created, it was basically useless. it was great to be prepared for this kind of incident.
but. oh. look at that. it's not up to date, it won't work with the latest software. so. useless. lovely. thanks so much.
can anyone happen to tell me -why- this isn't compatible, so I can try to update it myself?
I agree, I am rather lost as to the point of this plugin. I was under the impression that it would allow one to create a form of authentication that would allow players to join the server, under there own name and play even when minecraft.net is down. The plugin works fine and allows my users to login when minecraft.net is up. however when it is down, anyone attempting to login stays as "Player" and doesnt get switched to there own character.
there was a way to log in as a specific player before, I dunno if notch has fixed this, but basically it was an exploit which you could appear as anyone. the problem with that, obviously, is that people could change other peoples inventories, and get administrative rights and take over servers.
If people are just logging in as "player" then I'd assume notch has finally fixed a key element. so that when name verification is down, people can play anyway, but nobody can assume admin positions. not even the admins.
which would make this plugin completely useless.
if you can, however, somehow login as your actual username, then yes, this plugin would have a purpose.
You'd think notch would at least have added some kind of incremental system so instead of everyone being "Player" they would be "Player0..1..2..3..4" respectively... Multiplayer is useless when minecraft.net is down because of that.

Well not letting multiple "player" accounts on at once is a moderately effective piracy control. Although they have some kind of name hack thing I think now so I guess your point is valid :biggrin.gif:
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Only nine fours can combine to power the crystal train to infinity.
That doesn't decrypt passwords, it just attempts to match it with a password someone already tried to find. If hey0 were using mysql/sqlite, I'd be more comfortable using salts, I dislike saving to text files (I would LOVE if hey0 were to implement sqlite! so then everyone has it)
After they hey0 update of 125 i get an error where whenever i restart the server, people need to re-register even tho in the auths their password is associated to their username
Upload plz
Please upload this script
Will add support for 119 soonish
Link isnt fixed though :sad.gif:
It seems to be working fine for me. Perhaps you tried when I believe port 80 was being blocked by accident - try now :wink.gif:
Please do. I can't decide whether or not to update to hey0 b121 or to just leave it at 117/8 just to keep this plugin working D:
Great plugin though ^^

You can download a working version?
Thanks in advance....
