I know I sound like a ***** for saying it, but it would be fun to have a forum for people who paid for the game with their own debit/credit card, not their parent's. Haha.
You do >_>
I didn't pay for it with mine because I don't really need one just yet. When I'm on my own I'll set up my account, but until then, I'll just pay back in cash anything I get with it :tongue.gif:
You make it seem like using a parent's card makes them somehow less worthy to play the game with you :/

There's plenty of survival going on on the server I play on. I haven't seen a single player die.

The Slithery-Dee, he came out of the sea, he ate all the others, but he didn't eat me...
I had my mom buy me a money pak card so I could get on PayPal. D8< Of course, I paid her back and stuff so that counts, RIGHT GUYS?
Also, is Notch going to leave an option for no-hurt-damage or something (name subject to change...) so that people can still continue their lives with creative play?
Personally, I'm looking a lot more forward to the actual survival portion. I feel like it'd be a lot of fun raiding the monster spawners' chests with friends and just doing silly stuff besides jumping off the highest point in the game and not dying. Though items should be stored in a corpse or something because your friend/teammate might just steal all your items (not so much of a friend anymore) or they might run out of space to get the items they want. eh.

In the indiegames interview Notch posted earlier today he said ultimately he wanted 3 modes. Creative, Survival and Dungeon (something like that). Survival would be just like single player and the Dungeon would be no world building/changing but playing on premade maps with goals that people could make.
if there are idiots like that... i like semi-private servers for preventing that but i hate them for the lengthy signup because people take days to see that i posted.
You *know* that as soon as damage is implemented, spawn areas will look like this:
With placement protection in the spawn area that is gonna be one big corpse-fest at the bottom :x
Yep. You will not even be able to mine blocks near you to make a stairway to get down the side. The only way would be for someone from outside of spawn to come and rescue the people stranded by putting down a water moat for a safety fall, or making a ladder/bridge to the top of the tower.

This game needs less people who complain and more who can just kick back and enjoy what Notch has given us so far :biggrin.gif:

Especially PvP mode.
Then it will be a thousand people waiting for anyone to try to leave spawn, and then running after and killing them.
thats damn witty

And no one will be able to get down without dying.
