Make sure you use the minecraft.jar in .minecraft/bin, not the launcher you get off the site.
C:\Users\Garry\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin\minecraft.jar
there where i put
1. Go to "???/ServerBrowser/bin" folder so you're looking at 5 .class files (AddServerDialog.class, ConnectToIpDialog.class, gb.class, ib.class, and ServersDialog.class)
2. In a different window, go to "C:\Users\*account name here*\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin\minecraft.jar" and open minecraft.jar with winRAR.
3. Highlight the 5 .class files in the mod folder and drag them into the winRAR screen (DO NOT drag the /bin folder into here) which should be showing all the minecraft.jar files (a.class, aa.class, ab.class, etc etc) and folders
4. Select "Add and Replace Files" from the drop down menu and click "OK"
5. Enjoy your new server browser
EDIT: These are instructions for the first part of the mod. The second part simply requires you to delete the MOJANG_C.DSA and MOJANG_C.SF files in META-INF.

I'm still having troubles getting this to work properly with persistor. It works fine when I'm using the normal client (even though I can only enter the IP address, and can't for example give it a nickname), but when I'm using persistor there are no servers on the list, and I can't add new ones. Confirming the IP simply takes me back to the server list, which is empty.

Small update. For people who couldn't get servers added it should work now as it now saves in the .minecraft folder. Download is in the first post.
For people who already have it but want to update, you'll have to move your favorites.txt to your .minecraft folder to keep your current favorites.
Right when I found this, I was just thinking about how much it sucks to have to enter in an IP everytime I wanted to connect. You sir are a god among men.
Thank Hey0

Idea.
I want to make an autologin and server launch client passer, Based on the WoM creative custom client launcher. (Note it launches the standard client / persister and types in your details – much like a macro)
Step 1. Make a runtime file that runs from info from standard text files.
Step 2. Make an interface that edit these text file and then launches the runtime file.
Step 3. Start linking in already made server lists that you can choose your server from.
(thinking along the lines of getting tj007razor's Server List)
What is must do at runtime
(mc=0 means use minecraft.exe,mc=1 means use Pesister.jar)
1. Check files exist.
--IFmc=0 --Check minecraft.exe if there else "error:minecraft.exe not found"
--Check minecraft.jar if there else "error:minecraft.jar not found"
--IFmc=1 --Check Pesister.jar if there else "error: Pesister.jar not found"
--Check minecraft.jar if there else "error:minecraft.jar not found"
--Check userinfo.txt is there else "error:userinfo.txt not found"
--Check info in file else ""error:userinfo.txt found, info is invalid"
--Check userinfo.txt is there else "error: serverinfo.txt not found"
--Check info in file else ""error: serverinfo.txt found, info is invalid"
IF mc=0{
1.Open Minecraft.exe
--RUN file (minecraft.exe)
--Check if it is open (minecraft window/minecraft.jar) after a delay
--if not "error:minecraft not running"
2.Get username & password (userinfo.txt)
--Get info
3. Pass Username and password to MC
--get info from 2.
--type it in and click ok
--delay
}
ELSE IF mc=1
{
1.Open Pesister.jar
--RUN file (Pesister.jar)
--check if it is open (minecraft window/Pesister.jar) after a delay
--if not "error:Pesister.jar not running"
}
4. Click Multiplayer button
--Get serverinfo from serverinfo.txt
--type it in and click ok
What the Interface must do
A radio button to choose between Minecraft.exe or persister.jar and there locations.
--sets mc value
A text box for username and password – ok to save it to userinfo.txt
--perhaps even make a multi-user save file called userlist.txt.
A text box for server name and port – ok to save it to serverinfo.txt
--get values from clicked line in serverlist
A serverlist chooser
--get list from serverlist.txt – thinking comma separated
--if a line is clicked it must pass the values to the server name and port text box
--edit it so you can list according to recent used / most used / online / favorite exct.
--perhaps even get a browser linking to tj007razor's Server List and when you click on pay on server button it passes the values to the server name and port text box.
I forgot the ''S''
yeah so no one has a solution?

What OS are you on?
It should

like every 5 seconds or something?
Thanks.
I did get a reply from someone who was making some sort of master list, but I haven't gotten another reply from him in the past week.
it's a bit more complicated than that.
I was also thinking of a lesser way.. of it to retry connecting after it tells you the server is full, instead of having to go back to title screen.
unless there is no way to detect that..
