and i dont understand what you mean with booting everyone ...
Booting as in kicking everyone from the server, which the server does automatically at shutdown.
Yea, I probably should have said disconnecting instead. Hopefully the next update we get will have server-side inventories which would make this a non-issue.

Tis far better to be a witty fool than a foolish wit.
Just thought I'd let you know, I finished adding the hidden feature, read more about it on my thread.
Here's an example:
Also, thanks for posting it!

Is there a possibility to get the script for Abyssal's server status check?
No--or at least, not now. I may release it in the future once I am done but I have plans to completely revamp the script to be more organized, rather than be a large wall-'o-text mess.

Add your server to the list and get your own signature stat image!
Time to update this list. Would be nice to note next to each mod for which version it is known to work. I mean, right now very little of them work, but this'd be a nice list to tell which are still usable later.

I can't know without manually testing out each of them, and I don't have the time or resources for that. All wrappers and utilities should work with the new patch. Mods most likely will not.
Could be more precise: This is a server wrapper (belongs to the wrapper category - it also injects data :smile.gif: that is started with the server like other server wrappers but does nothing by itself. Instead, it creates a listening server to which you can connect to remotely administrate the server, or other programs connect to to perform whatever they want.
There is no limit (except the operating systems limit on open sockets) of how many sessions you can have running. They are all fully featured connections to the minecraft server.
The benefit of this is that you can add, remove and modify the complete server logic on the fly without even having to touch the server, as the scripts don't directly take control of the server anymore but each runs in its own session inside this wrapper - an external Program that crashes will not harm the server at all!
An example of this is an IRC bot. It can connect to the wrappers' server and receive the server messages in realtime as if it was indeed started with the server, and give a status log in a channel. Or a web interface where you can control the server and retrieve status information to pretty print it. And both of these examples don't exclude each other because both can run at the same time on the same server!
I'd describe it as...
A wrapper that provides a listening server on which arbitrary programs can simultanously connect and receive their own sessions with the server without them having to be hardwired to it.
oh wow that sounds really cool! I don't have much of a use for it on my server since we only run one app, but I don't think you support Windows boxes right now anyway.
Also updated descrip, tell me if that's more accurate
Yes, that sounds fine :smile.gif:
The thing really _is_ cool!
But as much as I'd love to support Windows and make it accessible to Windows users, I can't do it due to technical limitations of how Windows handles pipes, the magic stuff that lets me hijack the servers communication channels. Maybe I'll find a way around that by trying something completely different, but as of now, outlook is bleak :sad.gif:
ah well you definitely should! I may want to install this on my server, but it's a windows box and I can't really port to linux atm. I know there's a way to do it, it's windows. It'll just be convoluted and painful! D:
Quick update on the status list: Private listing of a server no longer excludes it from the server list. Your server is still perfectly private as no IP or port is given for it(or if it is classic, the url is hidden), but this allows your server to still be discovered and you can direct potential users to a forum or elsewhere to apply for admittance.

Does anyone have anything windows-compatible that would allow you to (at least) read and/or (preferably) type commands to their server from a web or mobile interface? I know the multiplexer could probably do it somehow, but it's not windows compatible yet... And I don't know how to write something to do it myself,
But i would love to administer my server when I'm not home.

Monkey Mines is a small 18+ Whitelisted Realms server that also allows families. We're currently looking for new players if they're not jerks.

TCAdmin has a log streamer which I use to view server.log in real time. Very fun :smile.gif:.
More creative uses could be also watching players.txt stream, or banned-players.txt .
I'd be interested in a way to input commands though as well.

What does the "known" section mean? Aren't they all known bugs?
