In direct response to some of the highly modded and wonky servers that are running about, I present a completely vanilla PVP server for the skilled and brave.
* ALL PVP ALL THE TIME
* NO RULES
* NO MODS
* COOL ADMINS
* 24/7
* MAX 20 CONNECTIONS
Though we will do our best to filter out blatant hackers, don't come crying to us if you get griefed!
2 guys swept through my base last night and lined EVERYTHING with TNT. I was there when it happened, no way they had enough TNT to line my stairwell, a long shaft at the bottom, and circle the island. One of them instawarped behind me and sworded me. They also seemed to be able to do something that kicked everyone off the server.
You saw my place before, go checkout the after. Here's a screencap of the offenders.

Afterwards a few folks got together and helped me rebuild it a bit, but it's not the same :sad.gif: They also blew up 4 big chest full of mostly cobble and other loot.
To Toqer: I agree this looks a bit excessive. I'll look into this more.
To Lazyhorse: You, Grupl, and another player were banned by association from gaining items from Grupl's duping. That has already been proven.
Again, guys: This is the nature of the Minecraft Multiplayer experience due to exploits, compounded with the nature of the KILLINGSPREE! Server mantra. I'm glad you're active enough to bring up issues, but this will likely always occur until the native Server component is better secured.
That and remember when you "team up" with others on a PVP server, you leave yourself extremely exposed to griefing. Think smarter, not harder!
Figured I'd write a quick strategy guide for this server.
Run away from spawn, as fast as you can. Don't ask anyone if you can build with them (a group of us have our own fortresses that we want to keep the location of secret, until we know you) Dig down, don't build a grand entrance, hide as best as possible. This is pretty much the only defense you have against hacks. I'd recommend getting on a boat, and sailing far far away.
After a few weeks you should be pretty beefy. Some of the regulars will know you, and maybe we'll let you into our places.
