Banty > not sure, but probably best not to know either. I get lag sometimes and my items are eaten though :sad.gif:
I move items slowly in chest ..i've lost gold, iron, tools by trying to move it like in single player .
Minecraft.net is full!! no free connections, i can't join to play!! BOOOOOO :sad.gif:
The Meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything.
Basically, sometimes, when it lags, your items will be duplicated. These duplicated items are not allowed, so you have to destroy them. If you intentionally do this (as OMG admitted to), then you will be banned.
I really don't care if lag dupes your items. But if you are intentionally doing this, i WILL ban you as he said.
I get a diamond sword or pick and stuff duplicated all the time. It's more annoying since all you have to do is drop it and it is fully healed. If you find that some of your items are duped, go ahead and keep them.
Don't go trying to sell your new diamond pick. If you get it in an illegitimate way and profit from it, you will get no sympathy for "lag duplicating my items"
minecraft is down because of a DDOS(Distributed Denial Of Service) attack on his servers. because someone got all whiny when notch said the next update would be on the 31st. its a very effective attack, and all we can do is wait till the attackers decide to stop. hopefully whoever they are, their isp will see what they are doing and refuse them connection. thats all we can hope for. although i wouldnt suggest this, if your a hexer, you can edit the string "player" that holds your name, and still play online without connecting to notches servers(if your addicted enough to do this, yours is a sad existence).
I'm sorry guys, It was pretty crappy trying to do **** when the servers were down... I tried to keep it running in case they came back, but as soon as i decided to forget about the server and play tf2 they came back xD thus the lag
It is back up now and should be just fine.
