Even if you are starting again its good to have a new start with all the new players that want to join, i mean i know when i start on a new server and everyone has a HUGE house the best picks it kinder makes me feel left out everyones doing there own thing and the new players have nothing to do.
This way everyone helps each other and we all get to know each other.

[Permits Permits are needed for an array of things. Permits cost either money or trade, and are to be tracked by a board owned by server admins and mods.
1. A Permit is needed to do any of the following – Own Land, Found Cities, Own Weaponry, Own Stores, Build Certain Items, Mine, etc.
2. If you do not own a permit and do something that requires a permit... eh... something will happen.
Outlaws(There can be no outlaws until a second city is founded.) People can live outside of cities, in a camp or something, these people are called outlaws. Outlaws receive no protection from theft or griefing, unless that griefing extends to harm someone within city walls. Outlaws may not enter a city unless they give up all they have to the owner of the city, who will then give them a small plot of land. Later on when people can fight each other, outlaws can be hunted if they are found troublesome. Outlaws cannot steal until people can kill one another, after that, they can try to live a life of thievery, though they may be hunted down, killed and their possessions taken. Outlaws still need a permit to found cities and own land within one, but cannot get a permit unless they live within a city, then they aren't outlaws. :'P (Outlaws do not need permits to own weapons, stores, mines or for building certain items.)
Founding Cities
To found a city you need a permit, this permit is good for founding only a single city. This permit costs anywhere from 50 gold to roughly five thousand of a single resource. This permit will be used to identify who owns the town if ownership is questioned. Cities must be founded far away from any other city, and cannot be within site(when vision is on far) of another city.
That's all I could come up with so far, tell me if you like. It's a more... eh refined I guess, version of my previous suggestion. Along with the addition of Outlaws.

Damn, I was having a good time too, other than a few random thieves there wasn't really a problem with griefing yesterday. Me and Dosu had all the groundwork laid out for Lost Islands and everything :sad.gif:
Ah well, it was however quite fun and a fresh start is a fresh start. The mine rule sounds a bit restrictive considering it's the only way to really get materials, but maybe actually having set mines being a better Idea? If you guys need any help whatsoever let me know, if I'm still on the whitelist anyway.
Edit- I like the permits idea, and the price of towns needs to be higher, also as a secondary you maybe need at least 2 other people to form one, the price shouldn't even be remotely obtainable within a day.

every city has its own mine and we will have users only have a mine the same size as there house.
So, only the same size in terms of width and length, not depth, correct? That sounds reasonable, very reasonable.
