2. I fully support the idea of ddyrnes opening his city. It will give guests a positive place to build and socialize. As for greifing there, it is set up so protection can be retoggled at any time, and admins can always kick/ban. Besides, most of the huge things built on the server have lots of attention for a week or so then are pretty much abandoned; so it's good to see someone putting a use to them.
3. Roads are un-needed. Radda is already in the process of building a server transit tunnel system (/warp central), and we also have warps that can make transport incredibly fast. Don't hesitate to ask mods or admins to help you place them. (Consider buying /jumpto as well, very helpful).
Yeah, I talked to ddy about it and he explained it to me better, so (while I'm still not 100% in love with the idea) I'm cool with it :wink.gif:
Also, he let me protect a few of the things that mean the most to me there (my office building, the cathedral, and my villa), so it's all good now :wink.gif:
About this tunnel system, I'd like to learn more about it! :smile.gif: I guess I'll head to the warp when the server comes back up (it's down atm). My biggest question is: will these underground tunnels go through protect zones, or around? I love the idea of an underground transit system, but I really don't want tunnels under my lands :/ just a personal preference. XD
I assume they'd go around, but I just want to be 100% sure :wink.gif:

We/Radda already build the tunnels, we just didnt finish it ALL but they go from center of the map straight forward to all borders, they do go through protection, but they are on bedrock, so unless your things are on bedrock on the equator,madarin or wahtever of the map, you should be fine, its not a bunch of tunnel systems, its just 4 tunnels in each direction connected, like [+]
also, you stated people have been using roads for a long time in history. That is due to the fact people cannot warp wherever they want to, if they could, i doubt cars would even be around anymore, nor roads,sidewalks, etc.
and if you didnt build through protection, you would end up going around it, which would leave ugly roads around peoples creations. ALSO if roads were leading to empty areas, then everyone would go that area and build in a cluttered place leaving it not able to build one once again, as for open land, borders were extended so, /spawn and look around at new land..
IF you REALLY want roads, just go to /warp central, we are currently building a system that is from border to border so that should help you

Hi there, I've been loyal to this server ONLY for the past week, and made some progress on my castle, etc.
But I just wanted to mention, I cannot connect for some reason.. It says "Internal Exception: Java.net.SocketExeption: Software caused connection abort: recv failed". Can someone please help? I love this server.

If my sig said it was up, then the server was up And it was a different issue not allowing you to connect, remember if the server is up that doesn't 100% mean you can connect
