I want to add bounties. Like on random people. And whoever kills the person with the bounty gets so and so points. For the oncoming CTF Shop. I think it's a good idea.
I really put a lot of thought into it, and it is my very first real, serious Minecraft level. The main cool thing about it is the spectatoring area - it is extended to all four sides of the map, with elevators leading to great viewing positions (well, as great as they can be without allowing a way out), so you can watch all the action even without being an op and using hax (although I'm not sure how well this will look with minecraft hiding distant players). But it feels a little smaller than it looked in Paint3D, so if you want I'll make it bigger. Just say the word.
I marked the red spawn with static lava and blue spawn with static water, but if I understood the OP correctly, they're going to need to be a little lower than that. You'll take care of all that, I guess :biggrin.gif:
Tell me what you think! And what you think I should add - I was thinking maybe some trees.
Edit: er... there are 8 glass blocks surrounding the main spawn. I could have sworn I fixed that, but apparently that was before I accidentally deleted the whole map and had to begin from an earlier backup. So, remove that :smile.gif:

- Stalemates are bad. Add a stalemate prevention system. Or the tagging system on Nox's CTF.
- I really dislike the bluff mines. Where one person sets mine, defuses it, and can use the mine's remains as a bluff. Not really sure if that's a bug though.
Suggestions:
Fix some maps or you should remove them.
Ops should have colored names. Lol, I hate having to keep saying I'm op.
Bounties, random hunts on people of significance. Like, I got the flag, it starts on me. The prize is so and so points.
Try fixing the R exploit.
Ops can "lock the flag."
PMs actually show up when you send them.
OPs can increase explosion radius?...
Update better graphics on your ranking page. :tongue.gif: It's just too plain.
More OP commands? Like /hide, where ops are invisible. For hacker purposes. To spectate people secretly.

- Increase TNT explosion radius. Given that they have enough points. 600 points for example. Can be used to buy a 7 by 7 radius TNT from your rank's point count.
- Stealth? The difficulty is making a slight blurr for others so it's not completely unfair.
- Multiple TNTs - yeah you get the idea. But add different colored detonators for that. Or... just more commands.
- I don't know if this acutally works. But a perk is that you can see through all the blocks in the map for like 10 seconds. IDK. I heard it's up what texture you add on to your client files.
- When you placed tnt, and you die, that TNT automatically explodes. Martyrdom.
- Flamethrowers. Lol. It's hard being creative in CTF.
- Higher jump. Like the jump you would have if +hax was on. BUT. You can only jump up to 3 2-3 blocks tall, not SUPER jump.
- Flag transfer? Transfer the flag to another teammate. Can be used as a precaution system, just in case you die. The partner must be like 7 blocks close to you for example. So there's no errors like handing it over to your partner when he's at your flag.
- Stalemate prevention cancel, where if one of your friends get tagged, you don't lose the flag. Only used 1 time if you bought it once. It has to be expensive though.
- Increase mine blast radius. ETC. You get the idea.
Shields... Say the white block is the shield. To prevent from tnt explosion and mine explosions only. Tags are indefinately secure. Place a white block for a 5 by 5 cube shield around the area you placed the block, ergo the block being in the center of the shield. Lasts for 10 seconds. Or gets destroyed by 5 TNT explosions.
Also, upgradable stuff. Like the more points you use to buy multi mines, the more mines you have. Starting at caliber. Caliber 1, 2 mines out at once. Caliber 2, 3 mines out at once. ETC.
Upgradable shields, bigger shields, or just simply ones that last longer.
=(regular shield= - (branched into bigger shields) - or - (branched into longer lasting ones) -
Longer stealth if it works. I don't know.
How about throw able TNT? Or grenades. That'd be soo cool. I don't know if you can code such a thing though. Haha.

Lol. My opinion: Well regarding some stuff. I tend to get very frustrated if I "lose the flag" or get killed. I should probably mature up. After all, it's just a game. People have been thinking of more brilliant complex situations and tactics to win rounds in the server. And I think that's great. There still are penises around, but I tend to take care most of them with ban, I wish I can IP. Has anybody noticed, people with the (K) penis spammer who have been banned haven't been coming in the thread for ban appeal. If that's correct, then I think we have made no mistakes so far in banning people. Besides hersens9. Lol.
I simply love the server now. Too bad my Spring Break is ending, and I can't go on it as much as I used to. I'll try to get on it as often as possible. But it closes very early for me. I wish Jacob could add a CTF VPS Crystal for OPs to open and moderate. Of course with open logs, and records etc.
I hope other people have fun too. I hope to go against you sometime. I'm also starting to mute myself in game, to prevent the massive flow of spam that I create. For a better server.

Jacob_ I have a question. Isn't it possible to like email the codes for the CTF server? From opencraft. Then somebody OP can start the server when you are away. With them on of course. Joe sent the wrong map I think, it looks like just an autogenerated mountain level, no flags or lobby or anything.
Your map is rotated the wrong way, red should be lower x values (right now it is lower z values.)
I added a stalemate prevention system after I shut down the server last night, but haven't been able to test it yet.
What do you mean by locking the flag? You could just place op blocks around it.
I disabled spawning at the enemy's flag and respawning at all if you have it. The only thing you can do now is respawn close to the center line on your own side, which can't really be fixed without interfering with teleporting done by the server.
For op names, could I just put a symbol in the name, so it showed up in the chat as "#Makoto" or something like that? If I changed the colors, it might confuse some people trying to find out which team you are on.
Op names, defusing TNT, PMs, and IP banning could most likely be fixed today, I'll work on the store stuff this week. I'm also going to try using 7x7x7 for the default TNT radius, since I had a poll in the server and most people supported the change.
I'd rather host the server myself, so I can add updates instantly. But if someone wants to host a "Jacob_'s CTF Server (#2)" that could leave their computer more often than I do, that would be a good idea.
Canu was hacking. He left before I could get a screen shot but he built a bridge from one side of the map to the other without touching it. It lead directly from Blue to red. I exploded it in half then he flew around it before someone exploded him. He was majorly hacking.
Tick is also untaggable, if you hit him from anywhere you always get tagged, his tag reach was also huge.
There I reported some hackers.
I kinda liked it better with the 5 by 5 radis for tnt this seems a bit big considering how fast it is to place also anymap with water get flooded really fast
Jacob, you know when we mess around. Hacks are on. And even when we lock the flag, they can still no clip through. SO, here's my solution to that. /lock = disabling the flags' purposes. Nobody can capture, nobody can score. And we won't need to solidify the flags.
I uploaded a new version of my map. The main change is that, if the replace tool did not fail me, all water is now static (people were complaining about the infinite water). I also added some flowers, trees, a beautiful dead tree and a fantastic idol! (lol they pretty much suck but it's less boring. It's all hand-made though!)
I made the secret message text bigger (Makoto, have you seen it?) and made some stairs underground next to the bases to prevent terrain abuse (I noticed people blew the whole area with TNT, making it hard for the other team to reach), so now you'd only have to build a few more stairs to get inside. It's hard to explain, you'll understand when you see it.

I really put a lot of thought into it, and it is my very first real, serious Minecraft level.
