Wow, CS have my babies that's an amazing vid. I don't remember everything I did but just for crediting purposes I made: Pallet, Cerulean, Saffron, Celadon, Safari Zones 1-3 (w/ chariot; kaiser_czar did all of zone 4), the Hall of Champs (if it counts), every route between Lavender and Fuschia, the majority of the actual Mt. Moon (not dungeon), some other mountains, trees, etc.. maybe more but I've forgotten.
Won't be contributing as much in Hoenn because I haven't played through it yet and don't know anything about it. Can't wait till we get to Sinnoh though.
also is that some SSBM I see on your channel CS :biggrin.gif:?
Alright, glad to hear from you Saiko! Good thing I decided to have credits added after the fact and not put them in as part of the video, I don't think some people would be responding without seeing the video first :tongue.gif:
In other news, I'm taking on Routes 111 and 112, which basically means the Desert and Mt Chimney, including Lavaridge Town. Cieran, I had heard from Hunter that you had some ideas about the cable car; totally gotta catch you in game or something to go over the plans.
Oh, it should be noted that I'm not building the entire volcano of Mt Chimney, just the area of it that is accessed by the player. (I don't know if I shall get to finishing it all, but that whole NE region - through Fallarbor Town and Meteor Falls - is probably what I'll do next after Lavaridge area.) Also, someone can feel free to finish up Route 111 South - basically the area with the dueling family and that tower that's new from Emerald.
I am doing any major landscaping operation for the moment, like the highest point of the river all the way down to the ocean, as well as coastline. So mostly stick to your cities and less complex/rerouted routes, because I've chosen the nastiest part of the build :3
We're mostly keeping mum about is and isn't correct elevation, because frankly Pokemon Company didn't know either.

I hope that you making major landscaping changes has nothing to do with my volcano? :biggrin.gif: The grassing of what I built so far is unfortunate, but it's all experimental - after all, Lavaridge has grass; the trouble is getting the grass up there w/o letting it spread to one-high elevations next to it. Either the grass can grow/pass under a one-tile block like a log on top stopping the growth, or I missed my estimations and didn't raise the ground high enough around it.
Mudson, feel free to finish up Route 111 - I've done some work on it, but only as much as necessary to make the proper alignment with Route 112 and Chimney. (The desert was experimented with late last night, mostly as a figure of what would be the best block for wild pokemon sand vs. the path sand.)
Inevitable, thank you for reminding me; I had forgotten to mention where I got the music from! It's from the album Pokemon Hikerukana?, an official track that had 11 songs from the game remixed in this style. There are more songs that I wish they would've included, but what is there is still good nevertheless.

You and BK are the only other ones who I won't step on toes about elevation with ;D

Looking good so far. I'd work on things more, but a lot of things are claimed. I call the Sky Tower on the east side and Ever Grande City. (Without Victory Road.)
IF SOMEBODY DOES ONE OF THESE THINGS THEY WILL FACE MY WRATH!!

Alright, will whoever started to work on Route 111 (/ did Mauville City?) please come forward?
I have a job for you. And that job is to erase and then re-build all of the Route 111 area walls, because your lazy building has grassed them. (Just look at Bidoof's latest iso - it feels like the area was griefed.)
EVERYONE MUST REMEMBER TO HAVE MOUNTAIN AND OTHER ROCK WALLS NO LESS THAN TWO BLOCKS HIGHER THAN ANY GRASSY AREAS. Grass is able to grow upwards in a one block square - so that means that yes, grass will even grow diagonally up one.
When placing the walls that mark the elevation to these routes, you MUST remember to make them two blocks high! Aside from preventing grass from growing upwards and griefing the mountains, in terms of size relation between the player and a tile representation from the game all the height elevations are closer to being two minecraft blocks than one. (This does not mean that all elevations need to be made two high - such would be a more accurate interpretation of the map, but it would also by design not be a literal interpretation of the tiles as we are doing.)
Remember kids, build smart or don't build at all please. :/
