We received this review on Jacob_'s server reviews website, and I wanted to clarify a few things on it so you don't get the wrong idea.
Originality: 10/10
Completely unique features...
Thanks!
Administration: 2/10
but they [the unique features] are limited to admins, and they are understaffed and overworked. They do not want to dispense their product
I will agree that we are understaffed, but I am working on getting more OPs. It's harder than on a normal server because in addition to being good at moderating players, they need to have a good understanding of how the electricity works. We don't mind sharing the electricity; in fact in our 4 power stations on map3 you will find at least 20 connections all going to different users. Perhaps the reviewer was unlucky and arrived at a time when OPs were busy handling another situation?
Community: NA/10
Server was quiet when I was on. Makes the admin even more excusable
The server is pretty quiet, but we're slowly trying to build up, and this topic has helped. If the reviewer hadn't given us a horrible rating we might have been expanding even more.
Technical: 3/10
Server rarely up. Obvious block lag.
Server uptime (or lack of) is due to not having enough OPs and the fact that the ones we have can't be on 24/7. The server's limited uptime is not a technical issue, it's just my effort to provide a good experience (OPs on to help people) and prevent griefing. As for block lag, I've found that electricity lags considerably less than lava survival. Yes the chunk updates are usually well into the 100-200 range, but that's because with more players comes more houses to power. I work to keep the chunk updates under 200 so that the server can remain relatively lag-free, but I can't make your computer able to handle such volumes of chunk updates.
Keep in mind this server and community is a work in progress and I hope that in the future you will be able to post a positive review of the server. I am sorry that the reviewer was unable to enjoy his/her experience at ElectricCraft.

This my good buddy, sounds incredibly useful.
But yeah, I wish to investigate the synchronization thing. I want to know if it happens here too.
Thanks!
