I had this issue a couple of times before, but it's back. I recently installed WoW, and that seems to have caused my router to act up again. It's a D-Link DIR-615. I've forwarded the port multiple times, and tried quite a few things, but the port CANNOT be forwarded. I also cannot check if it has been properly forwarded, because the PortForward.com port checking tool isn't working properly. Now, I am forwarding 25565 on both TDP and UDP, with always and allow all being the side settings. My issue may lie within the IP that I have set up to be forwarded. The IP Address listed under IPCONFIG is different than the one that "WhatismyIP" and other resources give me (192. . . - shows up a 67. . .)
I just forwarded the port to the 192 . . . address, and using Canyouseeme.org, I get the following:
(IP omitted, if you need to know, I'll PM it to you) Error: I could not see your service on 67... on port (25665)
This error also occurs when I have it forwarded to the 67 one, through my D-link settings. Please help!
EDIT - Forgot to mention that before I started working on this today, I turned OFF my windows firewall. I'd prefer having this work with the firewall ON.
Error: I could not see your service on 67... on port (25665)
Is that your problem? Also make sure you're forwarding to the correct internal address. You can also try a different port (it isn't necessary to use 25565).
Unfortunately, that wasn't it. I tried connecting to the server using another computer, and it says the server is down. It's running, and I'm able to play on it.
Edit - when I check port 20100, it still says error checking it, and that it timed out.
Anything else you guys need to see? Where is the 67. IP coming from? LOL!
The 192 address is your Local Area Network address. Computers connected to your router see your computer at this address. the 67 address is your Internet Protocol Address. Computers connected to the internet see your ENTIRE NETWORK at this address.
What you need to do is forward a port from your router, to the 192 address. The 67 address is used for other computer to connect to you. You always forward to a local address, in fact most consumer routers do not allow you to forward elsewhere.
At the moment, yes. I just added exceptions to the firewall for the 25565 and my 20100 ports, so hopefully I can host now. Unfortunately, a fuse just blew, and it's getting kind of late. Thanks guys for the help so far. Hopefully the exceptions will be a further step in fixing this.

WhatismyIP says that my IP address is the 67.193.116.33 one,
but IP config lists a 192.168.0.10. I am forwarding to the 192.168.0.10.
@Chariot
I'll try that. What I'll do is change the port in the server file to 20100, and try forwarding to that.
