Ok, everyone: just stop posting. Obviously, he can't be helped, and maybe we should just leave him to smolder.
So, tree- here's a small solution. Mac: [name]-library-application support-minecraft-stats- delete the files.
For windows, just find the appdata folder (I trust you know where it is) and do the same for that stats folder.
Simply do that each time you start getting twitchy (AKA after each play, I guess) and you'll never know what they are. That's the best I can do for ya at this point- I'm gone.
EDIT: Oops, fuzzy already mentioned this (sorta). Oh, well. Also, the reason why I am posting in relation to your problems is because I showed my opinion, as requested, and you called me an unobservant idiot or some such (like others) and therefore feel I should defend myself, and this is my way. By trying to help YOU. So, really, many are just trying to calm you down so that you'll listen to the opinions you yourself requested.
I asked for your opinions, not what you think about mine. I put it big and red. Maybe you need help for your blindness and ignorance more than I need help for my OCD. That was me joking, I know that tone can be lost via text and you could take that in a rude manner, so I am clearing that up before somebody goes whining about it.
Now, I do not want the best stats in the community, that is just silly. I don't want my stats shown at all, it is just annoying. Sure I could set them to an impossible number, but then people all call me a cheater, and that is no fun either. Really, toggling something like that just makes sense logically. As a community I think we can all agree stats were a useless update nobody was really lusting over, and was time that could have been better spent on many other things.
You asked for our opinions, and my opinion is that you're fretting over NOTHING OF IMPORTANCE WHATSOEVER. In games, especially digital games, it's very easy to track things like player input and "deeds done." In games like Minecraft, where players explore an almost infinite world and adventure, many people begin to wonder what, exactly, they've done. In order to get to the screen to SEE your stats, you have to go into the Esc menu and then CLICK on the Stats button. If you don't want to see your stats, DON'T CLICK THE ****ING BUTTON. It's really that simple. You hit the Esc button, and then when your mouse goes over the Stats button, you just don't click it. It's as simple as it could be. Not doing something requires LESS effort than actually doing it. If anything you're doing yourself harm by clicking the Stats button. THERE'S YOUR TOGGLE FEATURE! The button to see the stats is your toggle feature! The stats aren't shown on any other screen, just the specific one. And to get to them, you have to click a button to see the screen. Otherwise they're not there. SIMPLE.
I stopped right there because I don't want to be talked to like im an enemy. So, from what I got from the title, I believe the addition of stats was a step in the right direction. I have always wondered what I actually done with all my wasted time in minecraft, and now I know.
You are not my enemy at all, you posted on topic. Thank you for your opinion sir. Sorry, but unlike you, many people on this thread are very ignorant.

This is what I replied to you…
Incorrect, I want to disable all of the stats, including recording of them and sending them to the internet. All your points have been made multiple times and I really do not feel like answering them again. If you want the answers to your questions, check the OP. Thank you for speaking with intelligence and your time in posting though.
I actually felt your post was good. The only problem was I answered many of them previously and did not feel the need to repeat myself… I never called you anything of the such sir, why would you lie and say I did?

In my opinion, the inclusion of stats themselves are only intresting, I often wonder how many blocks have I mined since a certain date or whatever it is I wish to keep track of, but I don't go onto the stats menu often...like once a week because I honestly don't really care for them, If you don't want to see them, then dont click the button, it's as easy as that.
Sadly, it is not that easy for everyone. Thank you for your opinion though.

Oh sorry, I have to be very specific with you I see. I meant opinions on stats, not opinions in general. To assume I wanted your opinion on just anything seems a bit, well, silly. Now, pay attention to these words here, close attention. It is not about the button and looking at them that I want to toggle, I want to toggle if they are shown online or not, because I prefer my privacy. If one more ignorant fool tells me to not click the button I swear I might just snap... Yes, ignorant, not meaning you are stupid or in any way lesser than me. Indeed you may be smarter and better than me in every way, but you failed to read the OP. You ignored it. Therefore, you have been, by definition, ignorant. I have to clarify before someone starts whining that I insult everyone who disagrees with me.
Edit: Holy cow, in your post you quoted me saying what I just said and you still ignored it. This must be some joke right? You cannot possibly... That is like me saying "I don't like cheese" and you quoting me saying that and replying "I can't belive you hate cows. Dude, just don't go to a farm. It is that easy, gah." That is exactly what you just did... It is actually hilarious, I am cracking up. People arguing with me and failing never stops making me laugh.
Edit 2: Watch your mouth please. There is no need for that language.
I am sure you didn't. It just seems I am falsely accused of many things on this thread without any evidence really presented... Anyway, thank you for your time. I never meant to insult you in any way, or to ignore your questions. It is just that I have answered them so many times...
To answer your question, I would like stats if they showed what I have done from the beginning, but they don't; leaving Me feeling that they are just empty numbers.
Anyway, I may be able to create a script for you if you are on windows that deletes the stats (just whipes them often, not delete them from minecraft). Pm me if you would care for that.
Ok tree? Dont tale this the wrong way but did you know something like his would of happend?
but you are dealing with it very good i can tell Here diamonds for you:
Ok now on to my opinon! I really dont care that they are there but we could make custom stats and laugh
BOTTOM LINE I dont care for them

Oh, I know how to delete them manually with the command prompter if I wanted, or go to the files and delete them from there. Heck, I can even edit them with notepad ++, but that is not really the point. I just hate that I can't update or the stats will get sent. If you could code something that could prevent them from being sent online that would be useful, but other than that no thank you. Thank you for the offer however.
I don't say that i don't like them or something... because they are awesome! It just makes minecraft, looks more like other games. I mean it have goals:D <3. But for those who don't like them, there should be an option that disables them. Problem solved
That is my thoughts exactly. I know some people enjoy them, but I just want an option for those who don't. Thank you for your time and opinion.

I got rid of the stats button... :ohmy.gif: It's gone :tongue.gif:

I might have taken this guy's path if I were just a smidge more apathetic.
Thanks for your opinions, save the guy who said "No", who needs to elaborate a smidgen more. LOL
