What this will be:
This topic will be for a guide on how to get all Achievements. While there are very few right now, I hope this guide can grow as the number of Achievements grows, and hopefully their commplexity, so that this guide will be a good resource for those who need help. It will also give a small tutorial, where Achievements didn't specify. will be adding the first few Achievements that were with Beta 1.5_01 here tonight, with a description. I also plan to beautify this topic if it gets a somewhat decent fanbase/usage over the next day or two, just so I don't waste time if it dies.
After positive votes(88%/94% Yes) I am going to continue this project. Keep your suggestions coming and i will try to fix everything and add more today.
How this can work:
I plan on making this some sort of wiki page for the guides that other players can submit their guides if I don't make one. You will see the format I use, and should be able to tell from their (Or I format it, if you would like). It would also be helpful if someone could tell me in a reply how to jump between different parts with a Table of Contents of sorts.
Achievements!
"Taking Inventory"
Description: Press '<Inventory Button>'* to open your inventory.
Instructions: *Press the Inventory key on your keyboard to open your inventory menu.
*After slight discussion below:
The 'E' Key is default for opening the inventory, if you changed it to something else use that key.
"Getting Wood"

Instructions:Hold the Left Mouse Button while aiming your crosshairs at a tree. Trees have Have green leaves on top and brown trunks, White trunks and grayer leaves, or Dark brown trunks with Dark leaves.
"Benchmarking"
Description: Craft a workbench with four blocks of planks.
Instructions:Take your newly acquired wood block, and place it in the crafting window. Do so by opening your inventory , left clicking on the wooden block in the first square, and then clicking in the crafting space. This will give you 4 wooden plank blocks. Then left click on the four wooden plank blocks produced in the crafting window, and arrange them to fill all 4 squares. To place the woodenplanks one at a time use the Right Mouse Button to place them, instead of the Left. You can also use Right-Click to select half of a stack, instead of the whole stack. Then click on the crafting bench, move it to your inventory, and Achievement Get!
Achievements!: Mining Chain
"Time to Mine!"
Description:Use planks and sticks to make a pickaxe
Instructions:Go gather 2 more raw wood blocks from a tree, and use them both to create 8 (4 X 2) wooden plank blocks. Now place your new Crafting Table by right clicking on the ground while you have it selected in your 'Hotbar'. Now it should be on the ground, right click on it again with bare hands. It will now open up a very important piece of Minecraft, the crafting interface, but more on that later. You will see a 3 by 3 grid of blocks, like the ones in your inventory. Let's move on, take 2 wooden planks, and place them one on the grid, and another one below, or above it. This will allow us to get four sticks. take the four sticks from crafting output box and put them in your inventory. Now take three wooden planks, and place them on the Top row of the crafting table. Next, take two of your sticks and place one in the middle square of the grid, and one below it. This will give us a pickaxe! Take it from the output and claim the Achievement!
"Getting an Upgrade"
Description: Construct a better pickaxe
Instructions: Take your Wooden Pickaxe, and look around you for Stone. It is gray and will either be on the side of a cliff, or near the mouth a cave. Go and mine some with the pickaxe and collect three cobblestone from it. Head on over to the crafting table and place the three cobble stone in the top row, and two sticks below. This is the same recipe for a wooden pickaxe, but with cobblestone instead of planks. Take the Stone Pickaxe from the output for a shiny new achievement.
"Hot Topic"
Description:Construct a furnace out of eight stone blocks
Instructions: Mine eight stone like before, which will give you eight Cobble Stone. Take the eight cobble stone and arrange it in the crafting table in sort of an empty square, with the top and bottom rows filled, as well as the two side columns. Take the furnace item from the output to claim the achievement.

Incomplete. Need a short break and then will continue with the other 2 Mining Chain Achievements. Please post feedback on the idea, execution, etc. And side note: diamonds for anyone who read everything here.
Note: On the "Taking Inventory" achievement, it says to press whichever button you have selected as your Inventory button.
So, yours says TAB because your inventory button is TAB. Mine says B because mine is B.
So, just put <INVENTORY BUTTON> or something, so nobody will be confused. ^^

I love how you describe what a tree is.
Hey man, some people just need to know, haha. :tongue.gif:
Haha, I added it simply because of the three different types (Normal, Birch, and Redwood/Pine) and because the textures could be slightly confusing to anyone who didn't read anything or see anything on the game first.
