Hey guy's. I've been looking to buy a minecraft server instead of hosting one. Is there a site like www.gameservers.com Or something that sells minecraft servers?
I dont really wanna host my own. (Create's lag for my comp, and i use this comp for more then just minecraft)
I was thinking about offering such service, but I still need to know about how much charges it takes on a CPU and how much memory it takes to run the server and also to have the ability to put a forced max player count before offering it.
There's not many OFFICIAL or giant companies hosting Minecraft at this moment. Why? Because Minecraft is in Alpha.
Make sure to pay money for dedicated server boxes, not a old 40-year man's windows 98 computer desktop.
If you're going to be needing hosting services for a long time, think about getting your own server box or just a server computer, very cheap nower-days.
We offer managed hosted servers if your interested but, i would say as most people would on these forums that if you are a little computer savvy there are guides as to running your own vps
