I have a different religion closely related to catholicity. However people do not think of it as a religion at all, just A MEME. I think its a religion but if I talk about the religion anywhere I will be made fun of. If you like I could PM you about the religion.

Sometimes I dress up as Slender Man and sneak up on people at night.
Religion makes people close-minded. Religion makes people destroy. Destroy knowledge, destroy cultures, destroy lives.
So you're saying that religious people, in layman terms, aren't as smart as atheists and agnostics? Just trying to see it from your perspective here.
Also, religion doesn't make people destroy. Interpretations of the religion make people blow up cars and fly planes into buildings. And don't say that it's the religion's fault there as well. Mark David Chapman was reportedly influenced by J.D. Salinger's Catcher in the Rye. Does that mean we should ban literature as well?

Need I say more?
Oh does it now? It makes people destroy? Explain these then:
I could get more but you probably have the idea. And what about the (countless) religions that encourage tolerance and open-mindedness, like Buddhism? Hmm? Not to mention that the idea of all humans being equal takes root in christian virtues.
This is all coming from a non-christian, by the way.
Edit: I guess I might as well say the fact I don't see anything wrong with religion is MY unpopular opinion.
Oh does it now? It makes people destroy? Explain these then:
Two paintings by non-religious men and an expensive church built during a time when most people couldn't afford food. Regardless, that doesn't deter his point.

Superfluous condescending remark. See me after class.
Yes this is my opinion. This is a thread for unpopular opinions there there you go. Catcher in the rye was banned because of religion.
Damn you. Damn you all. Why must every ****ing topic turn into a religious discussion? For once, can't we all just discuss something more interesting. Why not talk about how penguins are just birds that didn't correctly install the Flying Mod?
Not even Sym-Bionic Titan or Young Justice? Daw. Otherwise, I mostly agree.
The cartoons I do like were ones I watched when I was a kid, so the reason I still like those is probably just out of nostalgia. So I guess I just don't like cartoons in general really.

People that don't often play video games think of minecraft as the shittiest game known to man. What do I think? I think it's a great way to let my creative juices fly out and to further practice my architecture major.

I know, but a polite discussion of the matter isn't against the rules. Why do you think that religion automatically makes people less intellectual? In fact, one of the smartest people I have ever come to conversing with, David Wong, is a Christian himself.
One the writers in my favorite site, Cracked, said this once:
There have been atheists of significant intellect: Bertrand Russell, Richard Dawkins, and the aforementioned Christopher Hitchens. But in what may come as a surprise to the Internet, not believing in God will not, in itself, make you smart. Reading the God Delusion is as likely to transform you into a genius as reading the Holy Bible will make you a saint. And by the same token, faith need not be a sign of a feeble mind. But just mention God online and you'll be mocked as a mental deficient awaiting the second coming of the "flying spaghetti monster."
His article is over here. I recommend everybody to read it.
I myself don't think people should be judged by their faiths. But again, it's an opinion.

Yeah, not like religion isn't fascinating and extremely important, or something.
I myself don't think people should be judged by their faiths. But again, it's an opinion.
Why wouldn't you judge someone by their faith? Their faith is where they (at least, claim) get their moral and ethical backgrounds and opinions. The group of the faith is who they associate themselves with.
How is it wrong to judge someone based on their opinions, their ideas of how the world works, and who they associate themselves with?

It...is actually a pretty bad game. Now that the novelty has worn off.

This is probably breaking some unspoken rule, posting just to say this, but...
I cannot agree more.

and
NO, I will not see you after class.
We share the same opinion then.
Nerf guns > any other guns.
Checkers > chess.
... many others.
Funny thing, my personal favorite board game is backgammon (assuming Apples to Apples isn't a board game, considering there is no board).
The cartoons I do like were ones I watched when I was a kid, so the reason I still like those is probably just out of nostalgia. So I guess I just don't like cartoons in general really.
I blame God.
What? No it wasn't.

As much as I agree with you,
back on topic, please.
Yeah, not like it's against the thread's ground rules, stated in the OP, or anything.
Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
Hey man, stop questioning my opinion and ideas about how I think I should conduct my forum experience. It's against your rules.
