What do you want to do? It is not really a matter of a "good" college, but the area surrounding the "good" college.
For example, Portland State is a "good" college to go to computer science, but is an excellent college to get computer work. You have Intel, yahoo, xerox, and a few dozen other companies in the Portland, Oregon area.
Which means that you can get into a better college, you will not get a better chance to get hired straight out of college.
In fact, almost all the tech companies will grab you with a Bachelor Degree, and then pay you to get your masters and PHD. Yes, they will pay for your school, to get your master and PHD.
Since getting a computer job is more about experience then education, I would make sure your "good" college has a "good" hiring base near it.
Portland Or, Central Califorina, and Seattle Washington.
It also really matters how much money you have. Berkley, is a great college, but cost about 4 times that amount of Portland State.

As a Comp Sci Student at PSU (Portland represent!) this actually gave me hope because I assumed all the big tech companies were, well, not in portland (we have puppet labs here though!). I guess I was ignorant that yahoo and xerox were around, I thought xerox was in seattle? (i knew about intel though at least)

Why do you think so?
Seriously an art institute for Comp. Programming, maybe design but programming is just coding, trust me but that code is used for cool things.
Hating on MLP is like hating on Disney movies; they are made for all ages. - Rowsdower
