I know that A LOT of people didn't get minecon tickets but it seems every other topic is a rant. I come on here wanting to discuss things about minecon, then someone beneath me will post something about them not getting tickets, and how arrogant I am. I tried helping people with the second and third batch, and all I got was hate from those who didn't get tickets. I know most of you are upset and all, but tickets went on sale a week ago, plus more will be sold (said Vui Bui, anyone who gets a refund on tickets, those tickets will be resold). Maybe instead of getting upset at those who got tickets, we can come up with strategies on how to get the refunded tickets.
I know some people want to have petitions signed so that all the tickets will be refunded and resold. Then what if you don't get a ticket. The people who got there tickets refunded will be upset because they had everything already set up. For those of you who actually bought the tickets to the event, good job, for those who got it for a cape, Why.
But please, can we clean up this forum a little bit, and instead of ranting about how unfair the ticket batches were, or how much we hat eventbrite and mojang. Maybe we can give strategies for those attempting to get refunded tickets. Maybe we can talk about how excited we are for the upcoming convention. Maybe we can.
To much ranting, not enough space.
P.S. I know a lot of you are going to hate me for posting this, and I know why.
Amen, seriously, since I got my tickets, it seems that each time I post here I can't see a subject were someone didn't complaint about not getting tickets and being angry about anyone that actually got tickets... If they plan on canceling the tickets anytime, let me tell you I'll be the first one to start a class action on Mojang, I have my tickets, I won the lottery somehow, don't want to loose them.
Wait, this topic is a rant. I could rant about that but then it would be a rant of a rant of a rant.
I get that there's a lot of complaints and that's annoying for people moving on and looking forward to Minecon. But at the same time, for Mojang to learn from past mistakes and keep improving the event each year, complaints need to be voiced.
Next year, when ticket sales go smoothly, lines are handled more efficiently, the venue seems perfect, etc you will be able to look back and thank all the little people who complained.
