Not sure if this should go here or technical support.
I would put this on the bug tracker, but I really don't know if this is a problem with my game or something else.
Since 14w02c, I can't launch. It downloads the snapshot, finishes, "Job 'Version & Libraries' finished successfully", it tries to launch, and then crashes and gives me "Client> Error: Could not find or load main class net.minecraft.client.main.Main", and "Ignoring visibility rule and showing launcher due to a game crash".
I can launch 14w02b perfectly fine.
The reason I'm not sure if it's me or what is because ever since the new music was added, I've had trouble with downloading things successfully. Whenever it downloads sounds, I have to check to make sure all the ogg files are whole, and if they're incomplete, I delete them and repeat the downloading process. I think part of it is my internet, all the time it decides to cut off and then immediately reconnect when it feels like it, and it's fairly slow, etc.
But as new features are added, the folders get more and more complex, and now it's ridiculously tedious to hunt down any files that are incomplete and delete and redownload them.
Also, every time it crashes, the "Welcome, [username]" part still says "Ready to download & play Minecraft 14w02c" instead of changing to just "Ready to play Minecraft 14w02c."
I've tried deleting the 14w02c folder in the versions folder, too.
Something strange as well is that my assets folder just has the folders "indexes," "objects" and "virtual," instead of the usual folders. The "virtual" folder has "legacy" which contains the original stuff.
I mention that because I don't know if that's just because of the update or because of a mod or something. I hope it's not because of the snapshot, because if that's the case, it'll just make it even more confusing to figure out where to put modified sounds in a resource pack...
Save your worlds and whatever else you want to keep and delete the .Minecraft folder and download it again through the launcher.
I hate to do that because it takes forever to redownload everything, and almost all sounds download incomplete. Plus the reason I think this is happening at all is because of an incomplete file.

that means you've stopped it before when it was installing, so you have to do what i said before. also send the crash report to mojang just in case if it is a bug.

That's probably my internet, then. But it stopped when 14w03a came out, so it's no problem anymore. Thanks though!
