I've played over 4-5 times already, and I love it. But I do have some in's and out's about this Adventure Map. And so, I've decided to make a review of it.
Quality:
This map is very well made, by using MCEdit and NEdit or whatever the mods are called - Hypixel has done this map very well in a very nice Legend Of Zelda-like Adventure Map. From Elites to actual Bosses - I adore the battles, the scenery, and even the dialogue!
Replay Value:
Whether it's with friends, or *Forever* Alone, this map is always enjoyable. And in my opinion, deserves a second map, even if it wasn't to be continued. I totally agree this map has a lot of Replay value, even if your bad at fighting or kick zombie ass in Hardcore mode! Never the less, I have one problem. It's nice in replay value and all, but a bit short. I hope to see more in the next map.
Scenery and Decor:
Well worth the wait for this map, if I saw a trailer before it would come out! The actual mansion itself is a nice touch, and the outside couldn't be better! The boss areas fit nicely, the trading house and even the final boss room are amazing. Hypixel, you've out done yourself entirely.
Total Rating:
With a great view, and a lot of replay value. A sequel fits nicely to this Adventure Map.
10 out of 10.
I don't get this. How can you have boss fights with no mods? Please let there not be 6 Withers! And how can you have custom critters with no mods?
He uses the clever new features of 1.4.2 (Command Blocks, MCEdit) to put armour & weapons on mobs What a guyHypixel, because you are so good at redstone (As you have proved with Super Pirate Battle Royale,The Walls and this map) I really adore your maps. If there were a sequel to this, it wouldn't be any better...because it's already too good!!!Diamonds to you!
Problem when I was playing, the skelly king that spawned when fighting herobrine knocked herobrine out the window, it was funny because I went in creative and looked out the window and saw him there I tped my friend down who was looking around the room, might want to put panes or something there so it doesn't happen

how did hypixel give the zombie the herobrine skin?
He used the "secret" way to get a mob skull to look like a player. (Herobrine is probably an easter egg.) He then put the skull on like a helmet.
But come to think of it, the wiki says there's an actual user called "Herobrine," but nobody knows who owns the account. His skin is probably the obvious, hence the skull working. Maybe...

I was wondering, what do you put into the command block to make the whole screen really dark? Because in the map there's this room which is basically a maze and your vision is about 3x3 blocks around you. Hopefully that made sense xD
Edit: I found out you need to use EditBeacons with MCEdit, but I can't figure out how to use EditBeacons in MCEdit? I put the file in filters but it didn't work... please help
I have a few questions though, the first of which is how in blue hell did you make those demonic little ankle-biters???
Second, will the planned D&D map also be mod free? Because to me, that was the most shocking part about this map.
This is just further proof of what makes Minecraft such an amazing game. Sure, you can play about with yourself or with friends in vanilla for endless hours of fun, but the people like you who take the game, explode your creativity all over it, and share it with the world are the reason Minecraft is the #1 indie game on the planet! Keep up the great work!!!!!
Omg this map is amazing, like nothing I've ever seen before. Custom spawners spawning custom mobs with custom position datta wearing custom armor with custom enchants, nbt tags, color codes, and lore. Custom texture pack, custom potions working with command blocks constantly changing gamemodes, spawnpoints and working alongside proximity detectors. Custom shops allowing you to buy custom loot with custom enchants and lore from villagers with custom potion effects. This guy really knows what he's doing, I tip my hat in honor. Everything I've ever created bails in comparison to this masterpiece.
i loved the boss fights but the "stasis field" with the beacon was really annoying espesially on ssp there were some problem i had getting back to the "nether" but other than that amazing map
I just beat the Skeleton King, popped the disc into the jukebox, and went through the doors. I saw the portal, but I can't access it. I thought it might be the teleporter from Sethbling's videos, that I'd just have to stand and wait to be teleported by Command blocks, but no such luck. Now I'm stuck in the crypt.
Its really COOL!!!
