No you don't... The Xbox One and the First Xbox are two VERY different things. And your Grandma probably doesn't have internet, nor know that the Xbox is not a Nintendo.
why did it take me so long to find this gif i mean goddamn ( ¡ ^ ¡ )
I think it'd be a smart decision if Mojang switched to PS4 because as you and I can see from all over the internet, everyone's buying the PS4 and not the Xbox One.

I really want to play minecraft but im not buying a new game console. If i am it will most likely be the PS4. I just wish there was minecraft going to be on there
One the other hand, take a look at Apple's (not meaning to start an argument) latest masterpiece. http://www.apple.com/mac-pro/
What apple created: Possibly the fastest personal computer ever created, with completely new and innovative technologies.
Erm, no. I could get 2 i7 (soon to be) 4970x's (12 cores, 4.0+ Ghz) x4 (soon to possibly be) 790s (8 GPU's) for that price. And water cool it. And it will be more powerful and be cheaper. For a server you could get 20+ cores for that price, if you skimped on a GPU for a web/file server you could get 48 cores. (x4 xeon e7 12 core) No way that is the fastest, a well built, no budget, custom from 2010 or 1011 could equal it in it's stock form.
I really don't get fanboy-ism... AMD, NVIDIA, Apple, Microsoft, Intel. So what, give me fastest if I'm not on a budget, best price/perf if I am. Really.
I don't understand how people think the Xbox One is done. While I am sure sony will kick Microsoft's ass in sales, i don't see it being dead. Again, If there is anything i would like to see, I would like to see Microsoft actually give Sony competition. I think of it how GameStop thinks they can treat their workers like crap because there is no "alternate" gamestop. I do not think the 'casual gamers' quite frank give a crap about if the system will shut off it not connected. Shiz, I would be fine with the system if I wanted to play Halo now and then, even though I game on the PC. All it would do is limit me to playing if I don't have the internet, in which case I just go to the PC.
My point I am trying to make is that I will think the Xbox will go OK.
Relating to Minecraft, I have to give 4JStudio's the stupidity award of the year to not support the Xbox 360 version. I'm not sure if Microsoft has contracts binding them to make the game, ect ect. I would rather see everything announced in the trailer to the 360 version.
PC Version is god, of course, I know. Some people just don't want to hassle with a PC.
All in all, let's not be biased here. Everyone has their own opinion of what they game on. There is no all-in-one rule that makes us think otherwise, other then yourself.
People please the Xbox: one is $399.99 you can pre order them as well as xbox has made some decisions that are a little bad, well look at the used games thing, you download the game you don't need the disc therefor you can hand it to your friend and keep passing it along allowing tons of people to do this therefor cutting the income for Microsoft as well as the game company the online thing I'm not to found of why do I have to be online? I don't really know but who cares I have internet don't I and you guys do too don't you? of course you do this is why you can complain about consoles also I believe there will be mods and texture packs "Resource packs" Available but I am not so sure about it being free or not as I believe the mod developers will want a share or 4j studios and Microsoft will be making there own.

Well, you could not have said it better. But you are forgetting one thing really, and that this is the internet, and kids these days will only really listen to what others feed into them with out thinking what so ever. Also, this is the Minecraft Forum. :3
Oh I just find this hilarious reading through the post and complaining about" Oh it needs internet connection" WHO CARES you obviously have internet to go frolicking on forums about minecraft for the xbox please shut up As well internet isn't the thing that is going to run games does no one understand that??? it will only effect online games as you play on the computer or xbox! why would connection affect how a game runs last time I checked I had good internet connection and I still cant play skyrim.. Why I believe I couldn't of said it better I was expecting some little kids to reply! also little hint what makes my final decision is the game Ryse<3 got to love those ing romans
Also I think that no matter what console your going to game on there will always be pros and cons like
Con : pc a good enough one to play skyrim 800+
Pro : xbox and ps less then 500+
Con Xbox and ps they play at medium graphics on games like skyrim and I believe high on cods and exc.
As well internet isn't the thing that is going to run games does no one understand that???
You've missed the point entirely. The Xbox One should run whether or not I have an Internet connection, and requiring that I "check in" once every 24 hours is something that a console should not do. Yes, we all have Internet connections. That's not the point. The point is, is that Internet connections are not infallible, and the small problems that could pop up at any moment begin piling on. This isn't even getting into when their service is down for maintenance or because of a crash. It's just a bad design choice.

Used games have a place. I'm sorry they cut in to the income of some developers and publishers who genuinely deserve it, but they have a place. Nobody complained about this way back then. It only started when games started getting a higher budget. But you know what? Fine. Block used games, that's cool. But don't stand there and tell me that, if I go out and buy an Xbox One, and tie Watch Dogs to my account, that my Dad will then require my account to play it unless he wants to pay a fee to license it to his own account. Sharing isn't bad either, and yet they're trying to make it seem that way. I have enough issues with people jumping on me when I say that I buy used games every now and then, I don't need Microsoft dictating who I can and can't share my games with.
On June 19, Microsoft revealed a policy reversal, detailing that most digital rights management restrictions would be dropped, and that both physical and digital content would function as it does on the Xbox 360. The internet connection is only required once when setting up the console, discs will no longer be tied to an account or console, and can be shared with friends without authentication, while digital titles will be tied to the account and will not be shareable. The one-time connection will be required in order to update the console with a patch.

Am I the only one who doesn't get what other people see in the Xbox version? The PC version has nearly unlimited worlds, hundreds of people on the same server, easier controls, mods, texture packs and you don't have to pay for skins. In my eyes, that's easily worth and extra $7.
its for people who dont have computers but have xbox or people who want to play with there friends that dont have pc version
Apparently opinions alternate to yours aren't allowed, and also I didn't see him say that at all through that paragraph.

Smells like hardcore damage control to me.
Or maybe that's just my inner skeptic.
Either way, PC x Sonyntendo domination. Go home, xbone.

These forums are dumb and break my links. I'm bubbleawsome on steam too.
