You've got to be kidding. I guess Microsoft thought Minecraft on the Xbox 360 just wasn't enough. Knowing those greedy bastards, it's probably going to include the Twilight Forest and the Aether 2. Probably even Mo Creatures.
Nice game; poor system. This game makes me want a Xbox One but I am still not going to buy one due to high price, DRM to the extreme, and the better system out there. I keep wondering why they don't release it for something like the Wii U which would be perfect since it has that second screen and the console doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Even the PS4 would be a better choice to put this game on but as it currently stands; I don't think this game will sell as good as they expect it to on the Xbox One. Just my 2 cents...
Looks like you hitched your cart to the wrong horse. PS4 just kicked Microsofts teeth in.
And I would rather you work on putting the mobs back how they were, I hate the way they mob you now.
Screw the console versions, concentrate on PC, most people who play, play PC.
Ha! My grandma owns an Xbox 1 and my 4 cousins and I play it all the time.
I will buy it because I already own the system.
You don't own an Xbox 1. It's not available to the public yet. If you mean the original "Xbox huge" by Xbox 1 then you have the one made before the 360. Even then if you do mean the original they won't port Minecraft to it.
Good job. I'm sure the dozen or so people who buy that overpriced brick will have fun with it.
I don't play newer consoles and don't plan on it, but wouldn't it have made more sense to launch a new minecraft on the PS4? You know, a system that actually looks like it's going to have some sales at least.
Ahh well, good luck with it.
the xbox one isn't going to work, so don't do this! cancel it now! during the xbox one conference, Microsoft stock went down, and Sony's stock went up!
Am I the only one who doesn't get what other people see in the Xbox version? The PC version has nearly unlimited worlds, hundreds of people on the same server, easier controls, mods, texture packs and you don't have to pay for skins. In my eyes, that's easily worth and extra $7.
I play both versions tbh. The 360 version is a lot more laid back with the music constantly playing (if you have music turned on) and being able to lay back on a couch with a controller in my hands. I didn't become a fan of PC games until a couple years back, so I feel more in my element holding a controller than slouched over a computer and keyboard. Yes, the 360 has it's limitations, but I don't really mind them all that much.

Not sure what you mean by "putting the mobs back how they were", but Mojang aren't the people working on the xbla version. 4J Studios and Mojang are 2 completely different groups of people.
Personally, I find this to be good news. Right now, I don't really have much of a reason to get an XBO, but I'm sure that games will be announced that I want to play. For all I know, bethesda could be working on a new Elder Scrolls game besides TESO. If I do end up getting the XBO, It'll be nice to be able to get Minecraft on it.
YAY! If I buy an Xbone I can play Minecraft with the consoles BUILT IN DRM! Making it impossible to play because the servers would always be flooded with request!
Lol, sorry to burst your bubble but the Xbox One is the new xbox, albeit with some very hated features like Always Online, the original Xbox is now unsupported.

FYI I said the exact same thing before all of you, why repeat yourselves?

You know it's not Mojang who works on the xbox edition... 4J does. PC development is completely separate from Xbox...
It is not the first Xbox, It means a new (Third) Xbox. (n00bs these days)
Don't blame Mojang, blame Microsoft.
Heck, Notch hates Windows 8.

Ahh right.
Bad choice in that case, but then they couldn't have know what Microsoft were going to do a year or so after the fact at the time.
Like someone else said, Microsoft has a contract with Mojang.

Never seen something so true. I have a 360, and I believe I will be staying with my 360 or getting a PS4
Slightly off-topic: Pocket Edition came before the 360 edition, not the other way around.
Regardless, i'm not getting it. I have the PC version, little interest in the Xbox One, and little interest in Minecraft any more.
