Automated farms aren't a new thing, but this is definitely a new take on an old classic. Youtuber Docm77 has discovered an amusing side-effect of the pathing in zombies and wolves, when combined with certain types of blocks and spacing, which allows them to be used as a sort of timed, automated farming device! He explains it much better than I can; take a look for yourself, and enjoy!

Well that's good. Just wanted you to be aware Docm77 had permission from Pi to redesign and a link to the original in the about section of his video.
I know, I'm fully aware. The only reason I said anything about it was because the MCforums made it seem like it was all Doc when it wasn't. Pi needed to be on there somewhere. I know what I'm talking about.
I did something similar back in Minecraft 1.6.2. It used the same concept to trigger harvesting. Then, all the gems were sorted and put into chests... it was also stackable. I may post a map oneday -> After I upgrade it with 1.7 functions
Cool idea, at any rate. Always neat to see new ways to make minecraft dance.

Define Cute (choose 1): A) Creepers Aerbunnies C) Herobrine. If you chose A): You appeal to destruction and to stereotypes. If you chose B): You are a perfectly normal person, and enjoy the Aether Mod. If you chose C): Please leave the planet now before you set off a nuclear warhead--no one enjoys mass murders, however nice they might seem to you.
