placing packed ice on stained hard clay let's you see underground x_X
Working as intended. Whatever texture pack you are using messed up with the texture for packed ice. Unlike ice, packed ice is a non-transparent block and should NOT have a transparent texture placed on it.

So, I was playing in the snapshot, heading to get some Sand, and this happened.
Yeah, apparently, zombies can now be angered by Skeletons.
Edit: Also confiming that one of the first shaders are bugged, and is making the screen black.

This could happen for a while now, if a hostile mob takes damage from another hostile mob, the hostile mob will fight back.
Lord why are people "working hard" in the new snapshot because it is the first look at the new update and I'm sure they think it should be played for fun, not try-harded.
No offense to the people who love gryphons, but think about it. Why would Mojang add them? I think all they are focusing on are red dragons right now. But if it is gryphons, it would still be cool.

No offense to the people who love gryphons, but think about it. Why would Mojang add them? I think all they are focusing on are red dragons right now. But if it is gryphons, it would still be cool.
I have to agree - Gryphons would be cool, but it doesn't make sense to add in a new (presumably tameable) flying mob when red dragons have already been discussed by Mojang, and they can simply retexture ED.
Is any one else having trouble with the /testfor command in this new snap shot (ie: the command block not outputting a red stone signal) or is it just me?
Yup, and it doesn't even need to be ice. MC simply can't layer multiple alpha channels.
