Well, I had fun up until the Hell stage of the final boss fight. Have an increasing amount of ghasts and zombie pigmen swarming me every time I respawn, and the floor is on fire so I can't shoot the final target.
Great up until there, though. I'm not planning on finishing it.
Other than The Mad King waves, the map is well optimized and shouldn't lag.
What are your computer specs ?
I don't know about him, but I'm getting around 85-125 FPS on the map and the game just crashes anyway. It always happens as soon as I finish the tutorial and teleport to the ship. Does it absolutely require 1.4.5? I'm on 1.4.2 right now...

Epic map! Having fun so far, except I ran into a bug (when placing record after magma cube battle, Minecraft crashes), which I think has to do with all the mods I have on.
But still... Magma Cube fight with the Chrono Trigger Lavos Core pt.2 music on... you can't beat that!

Man, I rarely rage that much while playing a game. That got unnecessarily and annoyingly difficult by the end.

I'm (sorta) back, and with better grammar and more maturity.
is a very laggy area, on default settings, with Optifine I get around 70 FPS, were as outside I get near 300.. so I imagine on lower end rigs this would be unplayable, I'm clueless as to why it lags, maybe the TNT
I'll do a review for anyone iffy about this map.
It was a good map, fun. But it seemed a little short and rushed. The last one required more exploration. This one was kind of straight forward. I give it a 7/10.
Just as others have stated, its a bit similar to Herobrine's Mansion. I still love your custom monsters and golden nugget system and also the boss fights but it just doesn't shine in the same way the first I played Herobrine's Mansion. There are several problems I need to point out.
First, the boss fights. In your previous adventure map, someone had stated, "The boss fights were no special, you just repeatly spam clicks". Well it applies here the same way. I like how you try to add uniqueness such as the fight with blazeium. But for Captain Huk, Magma cube fight and especially the final boss(not going to spoil) at the end, its basic button spamming. I soloed the whole adventure map on easy mode and I had only died 4 times, not as much as I did on Herobrine's Mansion.
The altars at the temple under the castle was moderately difficult and I can go on with the flow. The nightmare temple was fine, until you decided to add a wither boss in it. It is rather hardcore for me myself and would end the same if it were 2 players. And quoting from previous comments, there were too much ghast in nightmare temple but I got along with it without deaths. But that's because I've played MC for a good duration. If 2 moderately skilled players played up to that stage, I don't think even 2 players can withstand 12 or more ghast. Heck the repeat screaming can deafen them.
The castle was huge and nice to explore. The effects at the ship battle was amazing and splendidly done, it was extra creative of you to make cannon fire effects. I couldn't do it myself. Throughout the map, I've only seen 1 elite monsters... where are the rest? There were more in Herobrine's Mansion and those monsters make everything a little better. But the most important part you should do better is the boss fight. Especially the boss fights.
Bosses are powerful entities that exist in every game possible. If its all about rapid clicking, it won't do good. How about, you try placing a skeleton on top of an impossible to reach pedestal and use your redstone techniques to move the battlefield. Make each boss have at least 3 skills to make it unique and hardcore. Generate hills, create waves, arrow storm, explosions, I know you can do it. Look at yourself and your maps. I'm amazed at how you made things to amazing. But its just not good enough. My encounter with Herobrine's Mansion has dulled the golden shine of this map. You can do better than this, Hypixel. Keep improving.
You don't need to improve the mobs though. They were already well done. Besides, you can't put skills for mobs. Just scatter them at strategic locations. Maybe skeletons at towers, etc. And make more surprising traps too! That explosion that generate spiders were pure genius. It rendered me off-guard and the spiders almost killed me.
Overally, it was well-done. I'd say 8/10. There were some flaws but keep trying dude.

Surely, you need effort to make such an epic map like this, and just a speck of the whole Minecraft community can create such an amazing adventure map similar to this.
Only problem are the bosses though. I agree with the comments that the skill of spam-clicking is only needed, but I still am in awe of the hard work you put in and even I can't build such maps.

For boss we can't change minecraft AI, so almost are the monsters can be ''click spammed'' and we can't do anything if people attack them from distance with Bow. We can't give them abilities like fireball and can't control them also. Only way to make the fight unique is to add something around it. Like with Magmo we added 3 portals so you feel like your doing something important.
Don't forget we use vanilla minecraft and we can't change how it work. We work with what we have and minecraft is very limited.
For elite monster you didn't explore enough, there is 4 or 5 elites monster and 3 mini boss that drop gold nugget.
Don't forget our boss are only and simply the monster you fight in a daily basic in minecraft. We can only had potion effect and armor/weapon to make them stronger and play with the HP a little. But nothing more then that.
This map is really amazing. I just finished the whole story! hope 2nd one would come out soon.
But I'm really curious, where are the three mini bosses and a hidden room? And what are the Easter eggs? I'm not even sure if I already found them or not. Can you please tell me?
After beating Captain Huk ( I'm playing update 7) i went to "go to sleep" but it teleported me to some place where there was nothing but space. I found the command block, and I think it had the wrong coordinates in it. What are the coordinates of the place the boat is supposed to take you? I guess one of the command blocks loaded wrong, or maybe it is correct, and my map loaded wrong. Please help so I can play the rest of this awesome map!
