a ) Are there any rules regarding texture packs?
b ) Does it have to be made in the current version of Minecraft or can it be made in the 1.4 pre-release?
c ) Can the build be made using MCedit or other tools like it? (Like those voxel importer things)
d ) For those who do not own WoW is there any good place to find video/pictures of Mists of Pandaria?
Not that I know of - while a good texture pack (or even mod) can make for a really sweet build, keep in mind that any 3D prints of said model might not be quite as detailed - the placed blocks themselves are usually a solid color when printed.

Whatever is best for you!

Sure, go for it! The only requirement is that it be awesome.

We've got all sorts of pictures and videos on the expansion right here - beyond that, I found quite a large volume of MOP stuff in good old Google image search.
Wow, I thought I was going to get yelled at for insinuating that there's too much WoW on Minecraft Wiki.
I have nothing against the game personally, it's just that I prefer MMOs that don't punish you for soloing, have small populations, closed PvP, & I get bored with them after two weeks anyway (though I will play some of them again in a year or two). Since WoW is a subscription-based game with many very expensive expansion packs, it's a financial sink to all but it's most invested hardcore fanbase while FTP MMOs with optional cash shops are good for people like me who don't play long enough to merit even a 1 month subscription.
Make texture packs? Tired of people telling you to upload better screencaps? Send me a message with a link to your pack & I can help. (Check my Planet Minecraft blogs for photography examples). http://www.planetminecraft.com/member/likalaruku/
I know lots about WoW and Minecraft. I entered even though I already have a Xbox 360. But I can use another one for when the old one breaks down. I'm not talking about a red ring of death though, I can fix that.
Ugh... Haven't we all seen enough of Mists of Pandaria just from that incessant YouTube commercial Blizzard forces us to watch over and over... I must have seen it at least fifty times by now...
Also, Curse, please don't accept any more advertising campaigns from desperate companies. This was blatantly paid for by Blizzard. Stop trying to make money for a second and focus on the reason we're all on this forum. Minecraft. Not WoW.
I have very important information to why your country is not eligible.
The short answer is, "Your government says we can't."
In more detail - contests, sweepstakes and giveaways all fall under a set of laws in every country in the world, and we, as a corporation, are expected to adhere to the laws of any nation we host a contest in. Firstly is the laws of the country we are based out of, the U.S.: even within this country, many states have local laws which make contests either prohibitively expensive to enact, or the laws themselves can be so convoluted that allowing people to win prizes becomes an exercise in futility for both us, and potential winners.
Any country in which we do not have a contest generally suffers from the same problems. In a perfect world, every nation everywhere would participate in these contests, and we would love to do exactly that. People seem to get it in their heads that we purposefully exclude a nation, region, or state because we somehow have it out for them (as even the tone of your message suggests), when we would much rather have everyone, everywhere involved.
Now, if you really want to have our contests in your home area, what you should do is write, email or call your government - if we can't host a contest in a specific area, the reasons are usually one or more of the following:
Legal fees and logistics become prohibitive for us, and contest entrants - one of the biggest issues being "getting the legal red tape cleared before the actual conclusion of the contest", which can happen far less frequently than people realize, due to how a nation structures contest laws
The country or region's laws are less permissive of international contests (including the terms of a contest, the parameters for which people can participate, and what constitutes "prizes")
Contests, as they are commonly understood, are not allowed by law
We are constantly striving to include more and more people in any given contest, and Australia/New Zealand are no exceptions. However, we can only do so much when our hands are tied. Check into your region's laws, and find out what you can do to make contests like these more available for everyone. In the meantime, we will - as we always have - continue to do the same on our end.

Can we build this as a team? (and then if we won we would raffle the prizes out to members of our team)
Apparently Australians aren't aloud to enter...
Thats what I was thinking.
Its not like where a third world country or something...
That might be what we think, but is that what they think.
Yes, we get around with no rules, and there's poverty and chaos everywhere...
