Have you noticed how, yet again, the minecraft developers have stolen content from a mod? The "mob" heads were originally created by Jammy780 in the mod found here:
Modders used the minecraft game for their mods....see what I am getting at? Following that logic why don't modders just make their own games then rather than stealing? I think most modders would be really proud to have their mod included in the official game. You forget that most of them make mods because they love the game and love the idea but its not in game. What do they have to complain about if their ideas were listened to at last?
Waaaah! They stole from a mod!

Waaaah! They added something lame when they could have put in this cool stuff from these mods!

Just shut up and enjoy the game. If Mojang sucks as bad as you say they do, you should stop playing their game and go support a company you prefer. We'd all benefit from your absence.

No, it'll download 1.3.2, it won't download my old jar file.
If you duplicate your current .jar, dowload the snapshot and replace the .jar (not the copy) with it, you can use the snapshot and later if you want to go back to the old one you delete the snapshot .jar files and rename your old one minecraft.jar. Hope I helped
I have every version of the game since 1.1 plus snapshots all in thier own folders and loading a version is as easy as a selecting from a dropdown box.
I wonder if one of you lovely people can answer my questions about this snapshot?
What will carrot on a stick be used for?
Will The Wither randomly spawn in The Nether? It's described as a "boss". Are we getting another ending?
How will we obtain Nether Stars?
How will we obtain mob heads?
Thanks people!
The first three questions are answered by reading the thread, the last one can only be speculated upon.

Hmm, nice be be a-head of the game.
Well love the heads, new mob, new block, etc.
I wonder if Jeb_ can give an effect when a head is placed on a fence or nether fence, like attracting or scaring mobs.

I am a problem seeker, so I can solve them. When I see a problem, that I did, I try to fix it. When there are problems I can't fix, I ask for help. But when people wants to make problems, even unknowingly, I try to stop them. Sometimes I get hurt, but will stand up after I fall.

Did you know I write Science Fiction? Well I do. Check it out at http://planetretcon.com/books/
Bro its their game. Not the modders. Get over it.
How about try riding a pig while holding a carrot on a stick and see if the pig moves in the direction you are looking...? Sounds logical to me! :-)

I take it it will allow you to move faster without using up hunger as much?
