Frames, Invisibility, Stone Fences, And Flower Pots. A Great And Simple Update. Now Add Quarter Slabs Instead Of Stairs And Slabs And I'll Be Satisfied.
I really don't get why people keep complaining about bugs. I mean sure, nobody likes them, but they're in EVERY GAME EVER MADE. Bugs are a part of a gamer's life. So really, instead of complaining about them, just make a big list of them or something and put it in a place they'll see it ( not sayin it'll work, I'm just try'n to cool things down a little bit). Oh yeah, almost forgot. Hopefully Mojang will finally add more structures to the game. Structures like graveyards, catacombs, Castles, etc. ....
Invisibility is gay, Minecraft is becoming just another boring rpg....
Ah, you mean the part where it's not even remotely like an RPG in any way other than that it has things like "levels" and potions which, if named differently, you likely would never have noticed in such a way?
Yeah. I can see how it's JUST like Final Fantasy.
Derpiness aside,
.....hoping they're NOT going to keep up this idea of only releasing either the snapshot *or* the main version's bugfixes each week. It doesnt "prevent confusion", frankly it just makes things MORE annoying. The snapshot players have bugs to deal with as well, and wont be getting anything along that line this week because of it.
Just release BOTH. Perhaps do them on different days. It's really not rocket science, particularly if you explain it well enough.
Yeah this is all very well, but couldnt of Mojang waited till the Snapshot was out and combined that with 1.3.2? Instead, we now have regular updates. Not saying there's anything wrong with that, just annoying. I mean people have to update their mods and servers regulary and we only get two bug fixes with 1.3.2???? I dont get it...
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails.
Nope. Those are border walls. They should add slabs that can be placed vertically though. They should be a separate item though, not regular slabs placed some different way. They can share block IDs and use meta-data, but it should always be "Stone Slab" vs "Vertical Stone Slab". The placement of each should never be able to mix up. I'm really excited for this next update. Furnishing are finally being added.
They should also add chairs that you can sit in. I already have the ModLoader code for them, so I could give them a base for it.
Aww, it forced me to update to 1.3.2....
Now I can't make any more zombie apocolypses in villages...
Or beacons.
Or see armored enemies. Oh well.
Also... maybe that pic isn't invisibility at all, but a new ghost mob?
I'm probably wrong.
Also... some bugs I've been seeing:
-Ocelots can't be tamed
-My cobblestone is now called "Spawn Cobblestone Creeper"?
-I've left a dog in my house while he's sitting, I explored for a while, came back... He was gone.
-In a superflat world, enemies always spawn in my house, and they're usually slimes...
While this update might be valuable to you, keep in mind that there are others who see that this 'update' is too lacking to be called as such. I for one have never experienced this falling out of the Nether out of the 2 dozen or more times that I've been there. I would know, since set up a zombie pigman farm to collect gold. I might have been just lucky, however.
Again, whether or not I experienced the bug is moot. If you would check the 1.3.1 thread, in this same forum subset no less...If you would check that thread, you would see that the bug was much more common. In fact, I would say "not experiencing" it was rare...
Furthermore, if you would have copied my post completly (instead of cherry picking the first part) we would have seen this:
Unfortunatly, I will never ever play 1.3
Why play a less-than (content) game, when I can have mobs with armor. And soon to be framable items!? Not a complaint in the slightest, since the snappers tend to be bad assery, compared to stable releases...
As you can plainly see, the update is not valuable to me. As you put it...
As been stated yay for chest sorting, map and clock on wall
Using "gay" as a pejorative is so retarded.
Did you know I write Science Fiction? Well I do. Check it out at http://planetretcon.com/books/

Uh yeah...it's been this way since 1.0. Snapshots and updates are intended for different purposes.
DERRRRRRP.
Leave Minecraft and never come back then. It's no one's loss except yours.
