Ender Chest "Bug" is definitely not a bug. Terraria's Safe feature does not eject the items either, and it's per-user. So I hope you people didn't put another bug stating that other users can't see what's in the chest.
I can't play this snapshot the dead Jim message just appears , I've done everything metioned and still is appears. (I haven't been able to play minecraft since singleplayer has that server thing >
You'll either have to wait until 1.3 or just find a different game. Jeb's not removing the listen server.
It told me the "He's dead, Jim!" error, and I added the server folder and the minecraft_server.jar and played a world from before this snapshot. It worked fine, and then when I tried to join the world a second time, it crashed.
The issue with previously generated maps is not necessarily the case as my 1.2.5 generated world works fine however make sure to back maps up before updating.
Download the minecraft_server.jar (The Server link in the OP.)
People usually don't do this: Make a folder called server in the .minecraft directory. DO NOT Put the server jar in the bin folder or make the server folder in the bin folder.
Put the minecraft_server.jar in ./minecraft/server
DO NOT PUT THE SERVER JAR IN BIN or MAKE A FOLDER CALLED SERVER IN BIN.
To have Commands, you need to put on commands in world options when creating a world. It's been like this for a few snapshots.

It cannot be stated much more clear than this. I was getting the "it's dead jim" error too and following these steps will fix it.
One of the neat new terrain features is that the small area between a river and a desert is grassy/lush. Makes sense, probably more small things like this.
I'm still getting the same error message, with or without the server.jar.

SIngle player commands, as I just discovered, are defaulted off unless specified in More world options when creating a world

Actually, I think map-generated boobytraps is pretty huge. It means that exploration may just get a lot more "interesting" in the future.
Didn't help me at all.
Then you can't use the game then. It worked for me =/

Following those steps didn't fix the game for me.
emerald gems are called diamonds and i think it has to do with diamonds being called emeralds in the minecraft coding
RETURN OF THE FARLANDS?!?!?!?!?!?
Also, I saw a villager tower in that pic...
