somethings not working as all the images an links in forums(signitures still work though) appear as text. wondering if this is an issue with the site or if all the images and links i find just stopped working overnight
With WYSIWYG turned off (switch on the top left corner of the edit toolbar), the fancy formatting features are turned off, but Firefox spell checking support returns.
Did you mean the "toggle editing mode" button? It doesn't bring back the spell checker.
Thanks for destroying the website. The Mo' Creatures thread is almost entirely broken, the website lags both server-side and client-side, and the interface is not my favorite. (though it's not too bad)
The bar below the ads is horrible. Itadds extra time to the page load.
If you are so desperate for views, why not just plain ask people to constantly refresh the page every five minutes.
There is also the fact that the "users viewing forum/thread" thing is gone, the top bar being unnecesary, the formatting breaking, the change on the quick reply box, etc.
But you are probably going to ignore all negative things, just like Google, and only listen to those who praise it or pay you.

The Users Viewing Board/Forum/Topic features have been disabled for a while. However, we have a current version of the site on our development servers with those features turned on. It relies on an entirely new piece of software the was developed in the past month. We were not comfortable releasing it on to the site today with out further additional testing.
I don't know if this is on account of the new update, but I've been getting this annoying bug where every time I edit my post, the editor adds an extra return for only certain lines!
A couple of suggested changes;
1. Add a spoiler button. If it's easy for the newbs to find maybe they will use it rather than post a 100 lines of error code.
2. If someone posts an avatar of 90 x 90 pixels or smaller turn off the auto re-sizer (it might to be easier to limit an avatar photo to 90 x 90; then no need to change the size).
Thanks
Lou
The very latest version. Also, I greatly dislike chrome and refuse to use it.

Did you have anyone besides vested interests looking at it from a usability standpoint? The sheer volume of "WTF is this sh**" posts says no.

I can't find anything.

The "Horizontal Rule" BBCode doesn't work anymore at the moment.
