Edit: What he "should have" done is part of what makes him human. Get over it people. C:
And what he 'did do' is part of why Yogscast had lost 20% of their subscribers. Apologizing is what would make him a decent person. But he hasn't, even though I'm sure by now he knows what effect it had.
But I have a feeling he doesn't care, because it's not him.
Well... Notch made a statement, and the Yogscast made a statement. Although the Yogscast's statement was much more mature and well written, I don't know who is telling the truth or who is lieing. So, i'm not really going to take sides. But the Yogscast just seem like nice guys, and they seemed to be a bit more mature in this... We'll find out later whats going on I guess... I hope this doesn't tear the minecraft community apart, given that Notch and the Yogscast have played roles in minecrafts development.

Actually, according to his twitter account...
@notch: I'm sorry about the ugly public airing of dirty laundry.
That's probably about as close to an apology as we are going to end up hearing from Notch. His past behavior has shown him to be far too arrogant to commit to anything more.
notch doesnt pull **** out of his ass just to flame people less popular than him, and the yogscast will never lie to their fans, so i would say that it was a missunderstanding.

This is good news, although I think a peaceful intervention is in order to clear things up for good...where and when you ask?...MY HOUSE OF COURSE!!...sometime after I graduate college this December preferably

Haha, oh please, go look up what happened when Notch decided to flame the one addon maker. Potioncraft I think it was. He's had these outbursts before and it won't stop.
first off: not f-bombing in front of kids is common sense (which they don't have)
second: they didnt really say they didn't do any of that stuff or if they did (in my opion)
third: they mainly talked about returning and i dont understand why everybody is forgiving them
fourth: i think notch has every right to still be mad, they still really haven't apologized (in my opion)
so i still think notch is right and NOT the badguy
first: not targeting a con at kids is common sense, which is why the con required all children to have adults with them
second: "has yogscast issued a denial" is not an opinion question, so if you want to claim otherwise, you're gonna need to justify that rather than hiding behind the word "opinion" (as scary as I'm sure that sounds)
third: there isn't any indication that they did anything that needs forgiving, other than notch's word
forth: it sounds to me that you have as little idea what notch is mad about as the rest of us.
what makes this all aggravating is that in his original tweet, notch said they "f-bombed children", which makes it sound a hell of a lot like they swore AT the children, like maybe one of them flew off the handle or something.
1. They apologized for dropping the F-bomb but like they said, they had organized their whole show in front of the organizers and half of Mojang, they approved.
2. They said those were accusations, they said they would never cross out another signature and tell them to **** off. They did turn away some people because they ran out of time.
3. You should read their response again if that's what you think that's all they talked about.
4. Yes Notch has every right to get mad after hearing these accusations about Yogscast from an unknown source but Yogscast doesn't need to apologize for being accused.
None of them are bad guys, it's all a huge misunderstanding.
I wouldn't say it was written particularly well, but the intent was there. Notch's statements weren't supposed to be professional, as it was his personal blog; he wasn't issuing a professional statement. I'm guessing this all came from a "she said, you said, he said" situation.

So the saying doesnt work anymore?
What happens in Vegas. Stays in Vegas. D:
Let it pass through... the momma drama is giving bad rep on both sides. Notch and Yogscast

if notch.... let's say "exaggerated", then he was saying bad things ABOUT yogscast, but he was saying them TO all of us.
as soon as he went public with grievances, this became the business of anyone who wants to follow it.
