Well that's cool, but what I really want is an interactive texture pack editor. One where the preview was a world of your choice.
Somebody make one of those, please!

So I was working on this really cool resource pack a while ago, but bad progress nonwithstanding, I think I found something much better... I'm probably gonna never release another custom Minecraft map.Until we meet again...
Looks pretty good, though I think I've seen things like this before in several places. I would use it if it had the capability to edit HD skins for texture packs.
I never tried to skin anything, but the hellfire-flaming which is going on here is ridiculous. Everybody claiming "has been done before" etc. should shame itself to the deepest levels of bedrocks and below.
Meh, Its not that impressive considering how many other skin editing programs/websites there are. All that's different is the 3D model to paint directly on to which is just a little more helpful :/
I used to use NovaSkin and liked the fact that you could draw on a 3 dimensional character, but its format was a little confusing. This is perfect, thanks so much.
Props to Paril, I think the article just sold it wrong by touting it's innovation. Painting directly on a 3D model is hardly innovation. I was so proud of my copy of Painter 3D...though it escapes me when that was...1995 maybe?
Paril, you are probably much better off not defending the software against the internet. There's no winning that battle. Hopefully you have already given up and won't even see this comment.
I thought it was interesting to see the comments about software vs. a webpage. That's the paradigm today, everything is in a browser....bringing us even closer to OS irrelevance. Put yourself a few steps ahead and port this into the iPad and you will be golden. I already change skins with an iPad app.
He already stated that he knew 3d painting existed all the way back when like a quake 2 skin maker was out he knows this tech isn't NEW hes just defending his program vs all these idiot kids saying one thing is better than another but all hes trying to say is that they don't have the feature to draw directly onto the 3d model itself.
Paril if you are still reading this, thank you for your hard work this is outstanding. If you made this kind of program to do texture packs it would be one of the most popular minecraft apps on the internet I bet. Ignore the children all they do is hate and troll, this generation of kids are so disrespectful to others and even adults. When I was a child I was always respectful of my elders.. I hate what has become of kids these days.
to all the dumbasses using that website skin editer... please know that newgrounds is infested with virases and will turn ur pc to **** have a nice day ruining ur pcs
Somebody make one of those, please!

Net_Bastard's Epic Low-res! As much awesomeness that you can cram into a 5x5 texture pack, and then some!
