I've built a lighthouse. There is still much to do. The building is empty inside, no stairs nor anything. At the bottom of the picture: a view from my house at night.
All my redstone run out while making the lams so I had to go mining. And I was very lucky and got 2 more music disks for my collection: "chirp" and "ward".
does it blink? if so how?
I play on a laptop so any clock circuits cause a lot of lag.
Yeah broke two diamond shovels doing only that part. Also been collecting netherbricks and glowstones. Anyone got tips for how to get to the glowstone easier without ghasts attacking?
In a hardcore world I got full diamond armor and full diamond tools. Build a large house in a cliff... started a mob farm. WITHOUT DIEING ONCE BITCHES.
I have some nice tools in my hardcore and am now looking for a permanent place to build my home. Either a mountain with snowy pines, or underwater. Which I would like to have an above ground one before water one...I also got an orange cat named Kumquat.
I am half way done with my jungle house, after I fixed my wheat farm. I'm also planning on making an underground base with a hallway that will lead out of the jungle. I also just started on the above ground part of the jungle base with the house, I am also planning on having a watch tower and cactus wall.
I'm in the process of making a giant skyscraper which will be at least 42 blocks high and have a volume of at least 17672 and probably encompass well over 20,000 blocks. I'm running out of coal to cook the glass and turn cobblestone into stone, but it looks pretty nice.
Also, a creeper blew up my freaking entrance so I have to rebuild that.
I'm also looking for software to start a new server and do a Let's Play on (and probably make a much smaller scale version of the skyscraper I'm currently building). I'm looking for a free one for now, which is really tough.
I'll have screenshots when I'm done!

Yes, it has rotating lights. One full turn takes 1.6 seconds. The button on the first picture turns the lamps on and makes 1 sec light 0.6 sec dark. I cannot turn the light off easily (I have to break and replace a specific snow block). Too little space to make it better. Sometimes the lighthouse turns off itself due to logging in or loading chinks, I am not sure yet.
I'll put just 4 lamps, 1 facing each direction and have a minecart go around a little track behind the lamps. detector rails will turn the lights on an off as it goes around. a powered(on) rail on either side of the detectors and normal rails to make the corner turn.
I feel happy now, there is a one house 'village' in a nearby desert biome, it had 2 villagers, one got eaten by zombies and the other went missing. i assumed the other one was killed and was saddened by the empty home in the distance, but while I was over there collecting sand, I saw something brown move in the forest, I went after it with my shears ready thinking it was a brown sheep, but it was the missing villager! Here is a picture of him
I have just made a random armor + weapon dispenser.
It could be useful for adventure maps and such.

Yeah it takes forever to enchant stuff ended up having to kill over 15000 zombies before I got an enchant I liked when enchanting my pickaxes.

I am ninja'd far too often.
Fortunately for the chestplate and pants there's really only one enchantment you can get at high levels. Which is the one I'm aiming for.
Looks great so far.

I mixed together textures from a couple texture packs til I got a texture I like for each block.
Heh heh thanks!
